I normally don’t go out of my way to leave reviews and am very understanding, but I think this is important to address. If you or someone in your reservation party has an allergy or dietary restriction, please do not come here. I understand being an Italian restaurant there are only so many options and so much they can do. We only came here for a family party, otherwise we wouldn’t come to a place that doesn’t have an allergy menu. My sister called ahead to inquire about our options to which they said they could accommodate. My partner and I called ahead to double check and, albeit rude, they again said they could accommodate. We made sure to order the two options we felt were safest at any Italian restaurant and then made sure to ask what was in it as well to confirm as I can understand there’s a lot going on with a large reservation and it may not be a priority. I asked for my pasta to only come with oil and I got a bit of a snarky response but our waitress confirmed it would have only oil and garlic. My partner asked about meat and dairy in his soup, to which he was told there was only cheese but can be removed. Our orders then both came out with cheese. Again, we are both very understanding and have worked in the restaurant industry so we try to be as polite as possible. We apologized and were offered to have it remade, again with a snarky response saying there’s cheese in about everything and comments about how she only heard us ask about butter which was not true. Our 2nd orders came out and mine appeared fine, but my partner’s meal tasted meaty so he couldn’t finish it. You have no idea what you are getting in your meal as the ingredients aren’t listed and they aren’t very kind when they are at least pretending to be accommodating. I am giving 2 stars only because our waitress eventually apologized and offered to remove the soup from the bill, but she very clearly did not want to deal with this. We are now both sick, and are assuming that we ended up eating something that we couldn’t. Allergy and dietary restrictions are not something that should be taken lightly which is why I’m writing this. I’m shocked they even have gluten free options. I recommend they start taking allergies seriously but if you are looking for a restaurant and you or someone in your party has an allergy or dietary restrictions, this place is way unreasonably expensive and a hassle...
Read moreAs a prior waiter I understand the difficulties and stress what comes with the job. However these is a certain point where that does not make up for an extremely bad experience. Showing up to a 530 reservation for my father in laws birthday, we had to track down the waitress to get us our drinks. After waiting about half to order, we once again had to track down the waitress to order. We requested garlic bread to start and then proceeded with dinners. When ordering, we were asked if we wanted a side of pasta with our chicken francese… we ordered pizza and French fries for the kids (4 kids age 4 and under)… after watching table sit down before use, get bread for the table, get apps and dinner BEFORE we even got garlic bread, our frustration began… our kids became visibly restless, tired and hungry… finally getting the garlic bread about an hour after ordering and then our food another 15/20 minutes later…. The last thing to come out was the French fries and pizza for the kids. A so called Italian restaurant also serves the chicken francese with a side of pasta that has a red sauce on it… in what world does that make sense? You do not eat pasta with red sauce with chicken francese… and for ~$30 a plate. The place should know better… then chicken Milanese with shoe rubber chicken cutlets and a lemon dressing on a salad? No balsamic any where? Pasta with oil and garlic where the oil was as thin as water and absolutely no flavor… there was at no point the waitress came to the table to apologize for the delay, ask if we needed refills, absolutely nothing. This was hands down the worst Italian restaurant I have been to from service, to the food, to the hospitality… as a server you know kids need to be occupied so right thing to do is get their stuff out first, not absolutely last and an hour and a half later… their staff was in corners texting and the kitchen was dead … no excuse… I would never step foot into this place again and would recommend someone going Olive Garden over this place because it will be better and cheaper and you will not...
Read moreMy fiancée and I went to Cucina 347 tonight. It's a very casual place. We were greeted and taken to our table promptly. We placed our order and the wait began. Waitress came back and said they were out of stuffed mushrooms and said we would get extra clams and if that was ok. I said sure no worries. Waiting again. This time longer. Yay finally app appears! Only to be so so disappointing. Still, I'm thinking ok whatever, dinner is on its way. Yay, dinner arrives! Only to be wrong. Ugh. Now what happens next is the reason I would go back. When I told then it was wrong instantly they apologized and said it would be made again correctly. I was starving and didn't want to wait or make my partner wait so I said that's ok ill try this dish. She then said we are making you your dish to take home while eating this one. (Turned out to be good) and we are removing the meal from the bill. Then brought us free dessert as well. Don't get me wrong the food was good, but the service was slow and wrong. However, the girls were friendly, nice and apologetic and corrected their mistake. I will go back and give this place another try simply because they were accountable. Something you don't see to often. So thank you to them and we will be back. P.s. Just one more thing. I think there should be a bit more stricter dress code for employees. There is a time and a place for super thin almost see through lounging pants with no undergarments, and that's...
