Zero stars, Consigner beware! They put out your items for 60 days and then you have to make an appt to pick up your check to see how ridiculously low they price at. They tell you if your item is priced lower then $ 50.00 they donate it . I brought several items to them and asked where the 3 items that didn’t sell where? She replied , I don’t know, but you can look for them on the sales floor . I found my 3 items and brought them up to the counter and one particular dress was a Philosophy by Alberta Ferretti with tags bought at Bergdorf Goodman.it was priced at around 30 -35.00 dollars , couldn’t believe my eyes.I said I would like to take the dress back , and her reply immediately was , “Well … you can’t consign with us anymore” I said , No problem!, just let me have my dress back , and she gave me back my cashmere sweater from Vince that was priced at $ 50.00. I said I just want the dress back , you can keep the sweater and the other item and she refused . We have to donate them was her reply if we do this for you we have to do it for everyone. Really?!? When I questioned her pricing her reply was “ Well, Vince is a good brand” I replied , it’s a nice brand, but you obviously have no idea about designer brands! Yikes! When I brought my items in for them to accept the women remarked how beautiful the dress was and not to worry if it doesn’t sell it will no way be priced lower then $ 50.00 so I will be able to take it back . The store is packed with merchandise and I don’t understand her insistence on donating every item if it’s something the customer wants to take back , Very Suspicious! Beware of this business , I wish I would have read the reviews before I went there. ...
Read moreI will never bring any of my things to this store again. I brought 19 items there 16 pairs of shoes 1 pair of jeans and two Fendi bags. They lost two pairs of my shoes went twice to look for them, they returned my Fendi bags too old the owner said(bought them 30 years ago which I told the owner up front) had a Fendi wallet and Keychain in one of the bags that matched. Owner kept them to sell since they were in great shape. Then got a call from the owner keychain sold only to be told that it was returned since person who bought it said it was fake! I was so insulted since I never buy fake stuff and the owner told me to bring the wallet and Keychain to Fendi to authentic it. I told the owner no way and she said well you have no proof and I told the owner who keeps receipts from 30 years ago! When you go you never get a price list to see what your items are going to be sold for. I was told several times thst i would be emailed a price list and the excuse was something is wrong with the internet. The owner does 60/40 and the owner gets the 60% of what is sold. Since i never got a price list i don't know what the amounts were so i don't know if they were low ball amounts in the first place. Never again will I do business with someone who insults my stuff who looses my stuff and should have asked for proof right upfront when I handed her the wallet...
Read moreConsigned with them a couple of times, what a HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! They lost or "accidentally donated" a couple of my items after I couldn't have been more clear in saying that I wanted anything that didn't sell to be returned to me. They donate anything that isn't picked up within 60 days. Apparently making your appointment at the 60 day mark for a few days later gives them the right to donate your items. I think that this is a very poorly managed and disorganized business. The second time I went to pick up my items, there were a pair of shoes that they forgot to give me...I had to go find them myself on their shelf. I wound up selling them on POSHMARK very quickly and I didn't have to worry about anyone losing my items.... Consign at...
