So you're looking forward to enjoying a great bagel at home exactly the way you like it. You order 2 bagels, and off you go to enjoy your breakfast. While you may anticipate what you think will be in the bag, you instead find these mutants. Is there no trust among bagel bakers to make all their bagels equally stunning? P.S. They do taste great though!

this is nice Bagel store in oakland nj, with large selection of Fresh bagels, pastries, cannoli's and muffins. Their bagels are fresh and have many different verities of cream chesses as well. Very friendly people working behind the counter

Worst bagel experience ever… one slice of Taylor ham that’s dried and burnt.. bagel isn’t fresh. The meat literally is like dust. Don’t waste your time or money here.

So disappointed!

After coming here for over 15 years, I came in on a weekday when only one other customer was in the store and already been helped to get breakfast for work. I thought I was thankful that the owner was helping me. I asked for 6 donuts and 6 bagels sliced (most folks don't eat a whole bagel at work and we don't have a bread knife in an office).

The owner said "We don't slice bagels." I asked him to repeat himself and he did. In dismay, I simply turned around and left and went to another bagel store down the street who without complaint sliced the bagels. This wasn't a matter of being busy but just being unkind and unhelpful. Will never go back...

Well, I stop here a lot if I'm in town getting baked goods for my wife and bagels for the house. Today I got a Taylor ham on a bagel. The Taylor ham was sliced as thin as thin deli ham. Not the way a signature north jersey Taylor ham is presented. So as a result the good flavor was overcooked out and what was left was a salty greasy mess. One half had almost none. I put it all on one half and it was so bad I threw it out. There is only one way to cook it. Thick slices heated on the flat top just until there is a little crisp on the edges. Not burned and paper thin. 8 bucks...

The quality of the food is good. They have bagels, pastries and cakes but often run out because they do not make a large quantity, which makes no sense since they are a bagel/pastry shop. Customer service is inconsistent and orders are constantly getting messed up, both mine and others. People make mistakes but they have perfected the art. Please check your orders before you leave and I mean open the wrapper and make sure that they understand that no means I don't want any of that on my sandwich. Easy concept...
