I’ve been going to PizzaPerfect nails for the past 8 months and I couldn’t be any more happier with Laurel’s work! Laurel truly cares about the nail condition and well-being of her clients, and will work to the best of her ability to make your crazy nail dreams come true.

I’ve come to her with ideas and themes for my nails, and then we’ll come together to ricochet ideas back and forth. She’s open to ideas and willing to experiment. On top of it, she truly understands the concept of asymmetrical symmetrical nails, where every nail design is slightly different, but the overall theme is cohesive. The last time I saw this amount of craftsmanship was when I used to live in Japan. (She’s just that good!!)

*Also - she has THE BEST arsenal of glitter, nail stickers, and embellishes. I’ve yet to see another nail artist with a nail supply this impressive.

A lot of people are worried that gel over natural nails will over time weaken the nail’s natural enamel. But my nails are stronger than ever! A lot of people are surprised that my nails are my natural nails. Laurel’s precise and careful enough when removing old sets that my natural nails are never compromised.

I cannot say enough about how happy I am to have found Laurel! She is an incredible artist and human, and she is more knowledgable about taking care of natural nails than any other nail tech/artist I've worked with. I have naturally thin nails, and she has kept my nails stronger and healthier than I've ever seen them. She really cares about your nails in the long run, but now the fun stuff: her manicures are so fun and creative. You're encouraged to bring your ideas and inspirations, and you'll collaborate on how this will come into fruition onto your nails. If you're a creative/visual person, you'll dig this. And also, her manicures easily last me 4 weeks with no chipping, lifting, nothing. I use my hands a lot in gardening, cooking, and weightlifting, and I'm a bit of a klutz, and I've never had a nail mishap. Laurel has a very sweet little pup who sometimes hangs out in the studio, and he's extremely well-behaved. He'll chill with you if you're down with it, or he's perfectly happy doing his own thing. I came in for one appointment last year and forgot to write a review. The nails were not what I expected especially for what I paid. She couldn’t shape my nails how I wanted and I literally had to shape them as soon as I left.. shaping is the foundation to your art. It should be really important to build a great foundation before building on top. I would have given her another chance but I am allergic to dogs and her dog was very needy and annoying during our appointment. She even had to go take her dog outside right in the middle of what we were doing. I found this very unprofessional. This dog sheds like crazy and will cry and whine and jump in your lap. This would be great for a dog lover but not everyone feels the same way. When I asked her if she always has her dog here, she started going on a rant about how her dog is “more well behaved than most children” which was not so true. Plus I left with hair all over my...
