Tourist Trap — Local services in Oakland

Went mid afternoon on a weekday. Place was busy but not crowded. You really have to see it to believe it. Interesting layout, with a large variety of quality souveneirs, collectibles, magnets, stickers, even toys, caps, shirts, for all ages. The place is appropriately named, as you could easily browse for hours and spend more than you expected, but leave smiling. So much to see. Staff was very friendly, helpful and accomodating even while busy and with lots of small kids in the store at the time. Very pleasant experience. ...

Very rude staff. Women raised her voice when we walked in at 4:40 and said we are closing at 5. Then at 4:50 she yelled across the store (we were standing right next to her) that the store was closing in 5 mins. She was rolling her eyes and hufffing and puffing the whole time she checked us out. Other shoppers put down their merch and left because cashier was so rude to them. We will not be returning and would advise others to shop at a store that appreciates...

We had a really good experience at this little shop and found all of the gifts we wanted to return home with. The cashier was friendly and professional. We actually visited this store twice because when we went to a bigger chain store the employees were rude and literally followed us around the entire store so we drove all the way back into town to visit this location again.
