Took a ride to The Bead Strand today from St Petersburg - I was very happy that I did. This store was wonderful - and that is an understatement. I found the owner very friendly, warm, and welcoming. She took time out of her day to help me locate everything I wanted. She could have directed her staff to do it but she made ME feel like I was the most important person in her store. I absolutely love beading and Kumihimo! I have no self-control when I go to my favorite store, The Bead Strand. I joke that when I die I want to be buried at The Bead Strand. I can walk around for hours! It is not just a bead store. There are several displays of samples of jewelry you can make. The clothes are awesome. The purses and shoes are really cool.
