We come in with my CERTIFIED SERVICE DOG (21 POUNDS)AND HE ASSUMED I WAS JUST BRINGING IN A DOG. " NO DOG WITH FOOD" HE YELLED... HAD HE LOOKED HE WOULD HAVE SEEN ON HER NEON ORANGE COLLAR "CERTIFIED SERVICE"... I SAID YES A SERVICE ANIMAL Never got greeted within seconds he's yelling for "Momma" a young clerk to answer phone of 2 rings. She gets off ph says sorry and takes our order. As we're sitting and waiting for Our order 4 more customers come in out of the 4 he screws up 2 orders and offers them a cold drink while they wait...these are all male customers.Cold drink while they wait because of his mistake. The Female clerk brings our food over and I showed her my official card from my wallet, Stating that I have a certified service dog she says it's okay.I noticed how he treated the female clerk versus the male clerk that came on duty while we were sitting and eating.Quite different From a female to a male and how he talked to them! Our food Was not very good we have had better from Arbys. I have been in customer service for over 42 years and my husband has has been in customer service for 52 years. After spending 27.00 with tip left on table for 2 meals and the rudeness of the so called chef I can only say we will not return. Where is the kindness of the south??? This chef I believe was owner and a terrible representation of his...
Read moreWe just got back from Ohio, and we went to Steve’s Gyros in Westside Market. It’s famous, and has been featured on the Food Channel. Believe me when I tell you that Gyro Grill here in Ocala is 100 times better!! The lamb in this place is better than any other gyro you will ever eat, and I am certain of that now. I absolutely love the gyros with any filling, but especially the lamb! Everything in this restaurant is delicious!! Get your fries seasoned, you won’t be disappointed. The Greek salad is one of my favorite salads. I eat it at least once a week, and I truly think their dressing makes the salad. They have the best baklava I have ever had in my life. You have to get the babaganoush. My daughter orders the chicken fingers every week, and they are big, crispy and tasty. They are not those cheap nuggets you get from Mexican restaurant kid menus. Everything in this place is quality, and the owners are exceptional. You can tell they take pride in their cooking and restaurant. I’ve never had a sick feeling after eating here, like you get after fast food and some restaurants. You can tell the food is real by how you feel after you eat it. Highly,...
Read moreAbsolutely one of the best gyros I've ever had. I say that as someone who lives in an area with a significant Greek population (in CT) and many Greek restaurants (I've worked in some of them). The service was very friendly and fast. I looked around in the open kitchen as well as the dining area and found it to be very clean and well organized. As a chef by trade and having certification in Professional Food Management and Sanitation I feel very comfortable with the cleanliness of the restaurant. The man at the counter chatted with me during the short time it took to prepare my gyros. I also got an extra side of tziziki sauce and some of their delicious baklava. I have to admit this was my second visit, as I was so impressed with my first visit I had to return to see if my first visit was just a fluke. I'm happy to say I received another impressive meal the second time as well. The gyro was loaded with delicious lamb, perfectly seasoned and still quite warm after my ride home. The baklava was flaky and not overly sweet. Why eat fast food when you can have fresh made delicious food for the same price? I will definitely return here every time I come...
