We love our floor plan and our neighbors, but the quality of workmanship leaves much to be desired. The walls are uneven and don't let them tell you that you don't need French drains because the did a great job grading the land. That is BS! They did end up installing French drains after being pushed. However, they still did a half ass job which was not discovered until we added a retaining wall to level out the back yard. We had to have the drain removed and replaced at our cost. Our neighbors have had tile fall off the shower wall because it was not installed correctly. It seems all of our neighbors have had one issue or another. I will never buy another Meritage home again....
