I took my MacBook to get the battery replaced at this place thinking because it was inside of the McX it will be good. Well, the services took one week because “he needed to wait for the battery” which I understand. One week after I got my laptop back it turned off and didn’t turn back on. I took it in again because they said it had warranty. He said it wasn’t the battery and some how my laptop had candy or syrup or some type of “water damage” which is not true. He sent my laptop to the lab and said he will have an answer in about 2 days. Well a whole week went by and I didn’t heard anything so I called and he said no answer yet. In Sunday he texted me asking for my password saying that my laptop was on and he will have an answer/estimate the next day well.. another week passed by and nothing. I went to the store and they were closed, even though they’re were supposed to be open. I called and not answer. Then they started ignoring my calls. I am really irritated. Read moreThis is an absurdly great repair shop. The owner is super helpful, and most importantly, they have been able to do repairs nobody else in oceanside was willing or able to do. The first time I used them was for a ROG gaming tablet bought that had been dropped and wouldn't hold a charge. I'd gotten a "sorry, nothing we could do" from like 6 repair shops out in town because the parts were not common. IDevicePROS here really lived up to the name and went above and beyond to fix it. A couple months later, my galaxy flip got broken and the inner screen wouldn't turn on. Insurance replaced it but because I don't have it backed up, they told me that I had lost all my photos and documents. The repair place my insurance suggested wasn't able to repair it, and nobody seemed able to get my data off of it. Except, of course, for these guys. Got the information off no problem. Read moreWe asked if they could diagnose/repair my husband's laptop. We were told $90 to diagnose, plus repairs, with a turn around time of 1-week. 1-week went by and we didn't hear anything. We called at the 2-week mark and they hadn't done anything. Finally we asked for the laptop back at the 3-week mark and were told it was repaired and we could pick it up. We went to pick it up and they had lost the charger. To their credit, they ordered us a new charger and deducted it from the total amount. They also gave us a discount because of their poor customer service (originally $370 to repair and we paid $160). Unfortunately, after we got the new charger in the mail we found out that no repairs had been made.
