Store management has bowed out to the predominantly Haitian crowd of “regulars”. No respect for the rules and guidelines of the store, many of this group pretend like they don’t understand, because the staff speaks English and the rules are written in English, but even when someone translates to Creole for them they still just completely disregard everything.. Every day there’s screaming, pushing, shoving, piles of product thrown on the floors etc.
If you want to shop here, you have to be overtly physical and overly aggressive. I’ve shopped Goodwill outlet locations across the country and while many are like “the Wild West” I’ve seen nothing like this Orlando location, it is the absolute worst. Worse than Portland, Oregon Sellwood Outlet, worse than the West Houston location, worse than the Gary, Indiana location, worse than just about everywhere.
God forbid you try to film any type of content in this store - even with management approval. That’s when the young kids start chirping, harassing, yelling, threatening people. I’ve witnessed it first hand and all the store management did was hide in their office, just like they do just about every other day.
This store has a staffing issue and a sales issue. They refuse to enforce any of the goodwill guidelines and let a crowd of about 20 people ruin it for the entirety of the rest of their...
Read moreYou want to see some live entertainment in Orlando? Go to the Goodwill Bins. I hung out with some friends today and we stopped there and we saw like a large group of people lined up and were walking around just looking and . As we were walking down this one aisle which wasn’t blocked off to go to the cash register the large group of people started screaming at us to move away from the bins we were so confused then they all bolted to those bins as fast as they could. We were simply just walking to the cash register not interested in those junk bins. Due to that my friends and i simply put our finds from other bins back and left. Even the staff yelled at us to “MOVE OUT THE WAY” like maybe properly block off the area? or let new guests walking in know that that area is blocked off for the large group? Like i said we had no interest in those specific bins. Such an odd experience will not be going back to those bins. Staff was rude and the...
Read moreJust visited for the first time yesterday because I was passing through town. I didn’t expect to be yelled at and treated like a toddler as an almost 40 year old woman. Your workers should realize not everyone knows how the lines and the store works. I get you probably have rude people who don’t follow rules but you still could treat people with respect. I legit want you to know I suffer from severe social anxiety and ptsd…I was almost made to cry because I got yelled at for breaking some “rule” I had no idea about. Just repeatedly yelled “Get back!” “Get back” legit like I’m an animal. I calmly asked what the rules were and your worker just acted annoyed with me. I will not be back to your store. I understand this isn’t some upscale establishment. Doesn’t mean your workers have to lack in the areas of customer service and understanding not everyone knows your rules when...
