HOLLYWOOD MV NAIL AND SPA — Local services in Odessa

WOW!! Do NOT come here! They literally had some untrained guy try to do me pedicure!! I've been going to salons for over 20 years, this was the worst, most comical/scariest experience I've ever had! 1st, the chairs were extremely worn down and uncomfortable (least of my concern) The "New" guy they had put with me, over filled the foot soak tub with ICE cold water, when i reluctantly complained, he added more COLD water, nearly filling the bowl completely....when he started water jets, he had the piece on incorrectly, and water started shooting out, all over the floor, creating a HUGE mess!!! I'll admit, I should of just walked out then, but I didn't..stupid. my nerves were shot, and I knew my toes were about to butchered. He pulls out the drill, to remove the old polish, and I kid you not, his hands were shaking more then cheap massage chair! He kept hitting my toes with the drill...big toe, second toe, ...when he hit the 3rd toe, I yelped, and jumped outta the chair. NOPE!!! Why would you put him on the floor with paying customers?!! Have him practice on the employees!!! They then had a nice older lady finish the job. Without me saying a word, she felt the water and switched my chairs immediately. However the experience was not worth the $75 I paid....

Normally If I cannot give a high rating, I will just not give one at all.. However, I leave this rating today as a warning to anyone going here for a simple dip. I went to Hollywood Nails to get a dip on my real nails. As you can see from the pic of my nails done in a blue dip(done at a diff salon) they were getting very long-so I asked for them to be shortened a little bit and then the dip color to be changed. The technician working on my nails, was very polite, however he did not do the dip properly. As a result the strength of my nails were compromised, resulting in one of my nails breaking off. This is very frustrating, because these are my natural real nails. I do the dip-not only because the color lasts longer than a regular coat of polish-but also because it helps to strengthen the durability of my nails. So, I had no choice but to file and even out my nail(the break was not straight across nor even). I will not be going back, nor recommending them to anyone else! Again, the pic of my nails in gold dip(with the short middle finger nail) is done by Hollywood Nails, and the pic of my nails done in blue dip is done by a diff salon-which I NEVER should of...

I was very disappointed in this place I got my eyebrows waxed here and the eyebrows was very uneven after the lady waxed them my right brow was smaller than the left so I explained to the lady who waxed my brows and showed her my brows and all she wanted to do was argue about it and said I still had to pay because she has bills to pay which I understand and that wasn't the issue I didn't mind paying I just wanted her to make my eyebrows even so I called the owner of the salon on the phone because she was not in the salon at the time and she told me that I don't have to pay and that the lady who did my brows said I was to picky I offered to send the owner a picture of my eyebrows while I was still in her salon and she said no so I will not be returning due to the fact that some of the salon people here do not take pride in their work. All I wanted was for my eyebrows to look alike the way they look now one is shorter than the other so I'll be fixing my brows myself I guess I should have just done that in the first place to save all the trouble this salon...
