Taqueria El Gallo De Jalisco — Restaurant in Odessa

this was our first visit and was most definitely our last...our waitress was totally inattentive to our table, she took our order brought our drinks and order and never returned...I ordered the burrito mojado, I asked for the sauce on the side because they're made differently from restaurant to restaurant & there's always a chance the flavors not too well...when our order was brought out, she did let me know that they were unable to serve the sauce on the side, my burrito was smothered in red sauce, topped off with watery avocado and sour cream...upon my first bite, oh my gosh, the chili powder and flour taste from the sauce was horrifying...both my husband and I made several attempts to wave her down each time she passed and were ignored, I merely wanted to order something else...that never took place...my husband ordered the enchilada plate with 3 alacart crispy tacos - (his crispy tacos were not brought out the whole time we were there) he enjoyed his enchiladas however his rice was flavorless and his beans had an odd (possibly spoiled) taste...being that our waitress never returned, we took it upon ourselves to approach the counter and ask for our ticket and to go cups...when asked how our meal was, naturally I explained all that went wrong and both the Male and female smirked and made a comment in Spanish, ("they're not used to good cooking, they're white"), little did they know, I am full blooded Hispanic and speak/understand Spanish very well...no discount was given towards my meal, even after pointing to our table showing them that my full meal was visibly still whole...that was a wasted $30 ...we will not be returning to that place they call a...

🚨🚨 Apparently they have some issues at this place with roaches, 🚨🚨 please read!!!!! I just read another comment that talked about a similar situation. Ours i believe was a little worse tho. Me and my family went to go have dinner at the place, we found a roach on the table after we told the server she went looking for another sever that said “I don’t even want to look for it” after I had pointed it to him several times. He supposedly was looking for it but didn’t want to kill it. Before all this happened I had asked for a to go box to take my dinner home since I barely touched my food, at the time to pay for out tab our waitress gave us our total and i asked her if she was still gonna charge for plate since I wasn’t going to take it home after seen the roach and her response was “ the roach was on the table right not on your food”? She said her manager was not there and she could not remove any orders from our tab which I understand but after she contacted her “manager” all we got credit for was for a small drink and a...

I Found a roach walking on the floor quietly told them,then they killed it and then they implied we brought it in the restaurant because they don't have roaches and didn't apologize just sat around talking to each other asking where it was ,and then said me and my family found it by our table and giving us looks. I called for a manager after leaving so no one in the restaurant would know the lady said the manager was not there I said can I have the managers number she said no then hung up on me so I called back then she said she was the manager and that there is two managers... eventually she gave me a number for the manager, she never answered, i never asked for a discount or free food or nothing ,we paid about $160 for our meal and left a tip after the whole incident, im posting this because I want everyone to know how they treated me and my family and because I truly don't know if the manager...
