Can not recommend this place enough. I went here for my first tattoo. I met with Ric and he asked me what I wanted to do and gave me some recommendations regarding the location of the tattoo on my arm (he knew I'd be getting a sleeve later down the line) so it would fit in well with my sleeve. He took the time to make sure I was comfortable and walked me through the process. I don't remember the pain at all. I remember laughing with Ric and Nex. Unfortunately, my artist was late, took an hour of drawing time on a super simple design, that didn't end up being what I wanted, then after I had him redo it, he told me as he was putting the stencil on (super last minute) that I would be charged for that time, PLUS actual ink time. Pretty sure he charged me even for the time that I was waiting for him to show up. The tattoo itself is great, almost perfectly clean lines, and ended up loving it. Very overpriced and...

I got a cover up from Nex, as well as a few other tattoos. It was customized based on his expertise, and what would cover up the poor job of a tattoo I originallyhad (not done at this shop). Austin Ink is one of my favorite places to get tattooed. I only go to Nex; he is knowledgeable, friendly and very professional. I highly recommend him. My only complaint is that he has become so popular and well known that it takes months to get 🥺 but...
