This was our second trip ordering food for take out, at least 3 years or more apart. We don’t typically visit this town, but made a trip to try the food again.
We ordered a steak rice bowl, chips and queso, chicken fajitas, and one other meal that was maybe steak over fries (don’t recall the menu name).
We placed our order online, which was very convenient. We felt that the meat was seasoned well, and our meals were flavorful. The only complaint I would have, and it is little, is the homemade chips were good but some had way to much salt to the point it was sickening. In the whole order I only found 4 like that, but I had to inspect each one as I was eating so I didn’t end up eating more salt than chip. I also had a side of salsa and guacamole with my order that tasted fresh!
My family also enjoyed their meals and were pleased with their choices. I will be happy to stop back and try other menu items!

Read moreWow, Chris and his family go out of their way to make you feel right at home. They are just an amazing family and group of staff to have running a local Tex-Mex restaurant right in downtown Oil City, Pa. Now honestly I have never been much of a taco or a bean and burrito guy. I gotta tell you though the food just tastes absolutely hearty. The produce is always fresh and the food is made to order. I always try something new on the menu when I stop in. I think the next time we stop in I will get a crunchie burrito. Chris said he would make me one and I think I will take him up on it! Absolutely the perfect place to take your family and friends. I know they would love to have you stop in and try their Fall Dessert Special! That's if you love pumpkin spice ice cream served on a warm Belgium waffle that has a cinnamon chip in it to die for! Thank you guys so much from our family to yours Chris. You will definitely see us again!...
Read moreMy boyfriend isn't a very adventurous eater (and by adventurous I mean if it isn't a burger, he doesn't like it) but I picked this place for lunch stop on the way out of town. Don't be fooled by it's unassuming exterior, this place is worth a stop. The owner, Chris, was really nice and welcoming. We ordered nachos with beef and the fish tacos. Everything was fantastic, the boyfriend even finished my fish taco and exclaimed they were "actually really good". We got there pretty early, probably 11:30ish and by the time we were done eating a crowd was starting to roll in. By the end of our 12-day trip across Northeast PA my boyfriend proclaimed that the Taco Shack was the best food that he'd had the...
