Double Play Sports Bar — Restaurant in Oil City

Can't get service at 30 years old cause I forgot my ID okay no problem but when I came back with it still was not allowed be their policy....since freaking when? Oh wait was because I didn't look like the clean cut guy in my ID when I was in the Army. When I have gotten service, wings were always cold and under cooked. Personally know at least two of their cooks and that wouldn't have been trouble with them but my guess is they weren't in. All you can eat tacos would be great if seasoned and could have more than just sour cream. But for 5 lousy dollars, you get what you get. Have been in in a while now so hopefully they've improved but highly highly doubtful.

Well. To begin.....the food is very mediocre in quality and the drink prices ARE waaaay over priced. I was the only customer between 1-3 for their special today. The Ham n Cheese wedgie bread was served untoasted/doughy. Aweful!!!! I guess this could be the norm of a small town experience. Draft prices are overly expensive------$7.00 for a 25 Oz mug of a local IPA beer. I should have went to Franklin, Pa for a better meal and service. Always a great place to stop for a beer, food or both. Staff is always kind and food is very reasonably priced. From Stacy, Jim, PJ, Amy, Gail, Olivia, Patrick, Michael, all the staff is awesome. My personal suggestion for food is the Sicilian melt, Roasted red pepper capicola sub, taco salad, hot cheese balls.
