Eli's Western Wear Inc — Local services in Okeechobee

Ordered a pair of Miss Me jeans, shirt, shorts and watch online (177.00) as I have done many times before. Jeans and shorts were to small and I did not like the shirt. Return to Dundee store to get credit on my credit card, exchange, or at least a store credit. The lady behind the counter (Carolyn) advised I should have read the little box I checked online....who reads all of that!!!! I bet Carolyn does not read it herself. Matter of fact I thought that box said I authorized my purchase to be put on my credit card. She then flip to second page of my receipt (that come with merchandise) and there was a stamp that said no returns etc etc for items on clearance. The watch I received did not work so she advised she could call watch company and have them send her a new battery to the store. Well I live an hour away so I told her I would keep watch and call myself.

My friends and myself have shopped at Eli's for many years and I have purchased online many times. I advised Carolyn that she had just lost two customers FOREVER and anyone else I can tell. She could have cared less in addition she needs an attitude adjustment.

I wasn't asking for money back I was asking to exchange for bigger size, something else or just a store credit....NOPE THEY DO NOT DO ANY OF THOSE. My advise is be careful when you purchase something on sale or clearance. (btw clearance jeans were 59.50).

Anyway they do not care is the bottom line....good bye to Eli's, I am surprised you have been in business as long as you have. Anyone I can possibly tell NOT to shop there I will.

Oh yea I forgot the restroom was "out of order" lol. But neither ladies were wearing a mask. They advised they use private ladies...

Went on Saturday with my family to attend a nearby livestock auction and we decided to stop by.

One of my adult son's picked out a nice hat for his girlfriend and after trying it on, they decided to buy it. At one point the girlfriend began to walk towards a trash bin near the restrooms to throw away a paper she had from earlier....all of a sudden an older woman employee came up and literally snatched the hat away from her hands!!

She then proceeded to make a rude comment and took the hat to the front cash register. My adult children were stunned and then noticed another employee kept following them around the store!!!

Upon being told this, I went to the front register but could not find the older woman. I let the girls at the front what had occurred, how appalled I was, and how I wouldn't spend a dime in their store.

This was something that my kids and I have never experienced before at any store.

Ironically, I am a retired Police Officer and combat vet and this was during Veterans Day weekend. Thanks for dampening our day Eli's...

Bought a pair of steel toe twisted X And after 6 days off wear the sole was separating from the leather. Returned the shoe on saturday and did not get a store credit or a reimbursement had to get a return receipt and come back Monday to see what they can do. WHAT? These are $135 shoes that Eli’s sales and you can’t stand behind the product. I want to keep the money with this store but know I am asking for a reimbursement! NEVER SHOP HERE THEY ARE THEIFS! And on top of all that they had an attitude cause we brought the shoes back because they were 6 day of use...
