Regal Pizza & Restaurant — Restaurant in Okeechobee

So after several months I finally got a chance to try this place. I will have to say the only thing I was impressed with was the service and the atmosphere. They did a really great job of remodeling this place before opening. Now as far as the food I would have to say I was pretty let down. I ordered a half dozen garlic knots and a small spinach calzone. Let's start with the garlic knots. I ordered a half dozen and a couple of them were half the size as the others. There was no consistency in the size of them. I also noticed that these garlic knots were really lacking any kind of seasoning. There is hardly any garlic or olive oil or butter or whatever they use to top it with. They also just didn't taste like it was made out of pizza dough. Now as far as the calzone, it was pretty small compared to other pizza places in town. I noticed also that it was missing the same type of seasoning that you put on the garlic knots. What was really disappointing is there was hardly any spinach in this at all. I don't know what kind of dough they use but this didn't taste like pizza dough either. It just had a really different tastes completely. I will say though the dough was at least light and fluffy. Now the marinara sauce I got with the calzone was pretty good. I just hope this place looks at the reviews and listens to the customers and tries to fine-tune...

2nd visit: Stopped in for lunch. Our server was quite nice, but a bit uninformed. She did not know the wine list well. We asked about the dinner special (Wednesday: EGGPLANT PARMESAN, available after 4P) and we ordered SHRIMP FETTUCCINE which server wrote as SHRIMP PARMESAN). A rest room break caused my husband's salad to be REMOVED, even after explaining we would return. SHRIMP PARMESAN was served. Shrimp was covered in cheese and sauce, but shrimp tails were not seen until bitten into. Once the tails were removed, it had a good flavor. SPAGHETTI WITH WHITE CLAM SAUCE was flat tasting. Crushed red pepper helped, but it did live up to our expectations. Our shared table (with a couple almost finished) did not allow a bill to be printed.

1ST VISIT: Stopped in to take a lunch home. Ordered the calzone lunch special with 2 adds (Pepperoni and mushroom). 15 minute wait, which is about right. It was delicious! We were pleased with the flavor and calzone crunch. Looking forward to trying this restaurant on a date night! A welcomed addition...

Worst pizza I have ever had. My son just ordered carryout pizza for me (his mom), his girlfriend and himself. He also ordered wings. The pizza was cold and as hard as a rock. The crust was dry and hard and hardly anything on the 3 pizza's that he ordered. He also ordered wings which were ice cold. He threw out his entire pizza and wings. He was so disgusted with what happened. He ordered pizza for us, only to be humilated that he gave us such a horrible pizza. Not his fault. I asked him where he bought this pizza and decided to put this review on here. He spent $100 dollars for this garbage. He was completely ripped off. We all threw our pizza in the trash where it belonged. He called them to complain, which he rarely ever does. He should have been offered his money back. He will never buy anything from your place ever again. A friend told him about this new pizza place so he decided to try it. What a huge mistake that was. Never again.
