I shopped there on a Saturday. A specific comfort variety of a delicious hydration drink with Aloe Vera, Watermelon & Peach was out of stock. The next Tuesday arrived, I call them, & a person answers...I speak that I was there this past Saturday & found that the product I needed was out-of-stock. Next, I ask that person if there is a way that they can check by UPC product bar code, to see if the product is now IN STOCK. She said she would have to connect me to someone in "Store Ops". I wait after hearing several rings, a man answers & says his name. I give my name next. I then tell him I was there this past Saturday & found a specific aloe beverage out-of-stock then & that I have the UPC product bar code, could he check by that, to see if it is IN STOCK. A long silence of close to almost 10 seconds goes by, then he asks me for the UPC product bar code, I give it to him. He said he would go look/search by the UPC product bar code, I am on hold by telephone for at least a few minutes. He never answered back, I then hear a ring at least a few times, nobody answered, then a recording comes on & says, "Goodbye", & disconnects my call.
Just one more heads up...for months now, I have been able to go to their store website address & select to clip Crest Foods digital coupons, like anyone else who shops. The day comes next when I am there to use the specific clipped digital coupons that have not expired. All of my products with me that I need to buy are then scanned & the digital coupon savings are nowhere to be found on the paper receipt. It ignored everything. This has happened multiple times, multiple visits whether it is one or two products or some more than that. So, what I do now is either log into their store website which will show me what digital coupons were clipped. By now, I am smart enough to decide if I am going to clip any of their digital store coupons, just to try to use them, I make a screen image snapshot of every single store digital coupon that I clip.
I have aforementioned all of the above so that I will not find myself standing & sweating for up to a good 30 minutes, from the hot summertime which is surely again to come.
The truth prevails, be ready now, you are informed of what you could face, if ignored by a telephone to them, or if you use their clippable digital store coupons. Be...
Read moreI really hesitate to share this with the multi-hundred thousand residents of this ever increasingly wonderful city. (M.A.P.S. ++++ equals, can't wait to see what my Itty bitty penny sales tax does next. My personal favorite? Build the next generation pro- football stadium. If we build it, a team will come!) Sorry, chasing dream rabbits can get to be a habit.
Crest Foods.
Crest Foods is the only place I know that I can buy the 5 layer, K/95 masks.
There, I said it.
Since the CDC just came out with the press release that the blue masks most people wear are NOT effective and they now recommend the K/95 masks, I suspect that the next time I shop there, they will be sold out, and so the reason for my hesitation.
That's OK.
BE AS SAFE AS YOU ARE ABLE TO BE! Protect yourself and your family.
As for the rest of the reason I gave CREST FOODS 5 STARS?
Best quality and selection of fruits and vegetables I've come across, and I've done all the shopping in our family for the last 20 years.
The deli has meat selections I rarely see anywhere else. They even have Lebanon Baloney, which most other stores have never even heard of, (from Lebanon, Pennsylvania).
The employees are always present, (easy to find) and wanting to help you. They will even check you out at their customer service counter when it gets busy and the lines are long.
I know that no one shops at just one store anymore, and I recommend that if you've never been there, check it out. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised when you find that they compete quite well with the prices of anyplace else you shop for groceries.
GOD bless...
Read moreI’ve always loved this particular Crest. My experience tonight changed that. I don’t live in the area so whenever I get called in to work at a nearby hospital, I’ll pop in to get something I may need/want. I needed creamer for my coffee in the morning so I stopped in around 10pm. Also, I wear a backpack every day as my purse especially during the work week. In the store, an employee flagged me down and told me I wasn’t allowed to have my backpack in the store. It caught me off guard bc I’ve always worn my backpack. I was in my scrubs, and with it being dark outside I didn’t want to walk back out to my car, leave it in my car, and walk back in. I would have let someone look into it if asked. I also did not see any signs about backpacks. I just needed creamer so I grabbed it quickly and checked out. The same employee checked my receipt for my creamer on the way out. Told me to “ have a great life” as I was leaving. Then, as I was walking out to my car a white, tall, older man yelled for me to stop walking bc he needed to ask me something. He followed me out to my car to scold me for not putting my backpack up when I was asked to. A man following a woman outside to her car AT NIGHT is never okay. He didn’t have any identification on him. He told me he was in security and watched me on the camera. He’s extremely lucky I didn’t have pepper spray on me. This situation does not sit well with me AT ALL. It was surreal and terrifying. I’ll be filing a formal complaint and I’ll sadly never step foot in this...
