Highly Disappointing Experience at Simply Bliss
My decision to visit Simply Bliss was primarily driven by a Groupon deal, but unfortunately, it turned out to be a regrettable choice and makes sense as to why they need to be on Groupon to attract customers.
Ambiance and Atmosphere: The ambiance at Simply Bliss was far from blissful. The place smells of grease and mildew, making the atmosphere unpleasant. The entire space, carpeted and unkempt, felt filthy and far from conducive to relaxation. The poor choice in music and the intrusive sound of a ticking clock and outside conversations further detracted from any semblance of tranquility.
Massage Experience: My experience with the masseuse was exceptionally disappointing. Despite expressing specific areas for focus, it seemed as though my requests were entirely disregarded. The techniques used felt irrelevant and unprofessional, leaving me questioning the masseuse's training and expertise. At one point, I even contemplated performing the massage on myself due to the frustration. Actually, I did start kneading my own shoulders at one point. The aftermath of the massage left me feeling more fatigued and stressed than before. And the lotion they use is repulsive.
Customer Service: The lack of consideration for guests' comfort was evident when, despite waiting for my ride, I was abruptly asked to wait outside in the cold as they needed to lock the doors. The dismissive attitude towards guests added to the overall disappointment of the experience.

What about that feeling you get when your loved one has rubbed that spot on your hand raw from caressing it with their thumb for the past 15 mins? If you answered yes to any/all of these questions, THIS is your spot! No music, just the lovely ticking of the clock for 60 minutes to really put you in a relaxed state of mind. Oil for massages? Not here! Instead youâll get half a bottle of the thickest lotion youâve ever experienced just to have it get to that almost sticky state after itâs been rubbed in a little too much. I canât speak for everyone, but the âtherapistâ I was lucky enough to have for this hour spent roughly 70% of the time rubbing her forearm into the SAME spot on my back to the point it felt raw. The pressure was great though! You get a star for that one. 20% was spent on my neck doing the same thing, but in the way my wife would rub my neck while Iâm driving and she is slightly annoyed with me for asking her to rub a knot out. The other 10% was spent randomly rubbing the rest of my body for a few seconds just to put the blanket back onto my lotion soaked skin.    Read moreMy husband and I was scheduled a massage at 10 am this morning. We were excited as we have come in town from Amarillo, TX and a massage was one thing we wanted to have done. We were promised an amazing experience as I had discussed with the lady that answered my call for an appointment, several days ago, that we had a not so great experience previously with another massage place in OKC. She assured me it would be great and stressed more than once to be there 5 minutes before my appointment time. We received our confirmation by text at 945am. We were told to call when we arrived and they would call us back when they were ready for us. We arrived at 950am and called.....got a voicemail that they were with a client, leave our name and number and they would call us back when they were ready for us. I left a message that I was there for our appointment. I called every 5 minutes until 1020am. No call back. Still have no call back at 6:50pm. We are disappointed and will NEVER refer anyone to this business. If you couldnt be there, you have 2 phone numbers for us, we could have been told.
