If I could give no stars, I would. When I was a child NCHS helped me find my adoptive parents. I was very happy to have had them involved until recently. As an adult, my spouse and I wanted to foster to adopt. Everything was going well. sort of. Our class of 4 was class of 2 by second night. To have it a week before the 12 week class completed it was just our family. Then on a final visit because we would not give them information they are NOT entitled to. I even called the state and they were on our side. The agency did a "Mutual Selection" of not moving forward. They felt they were entitled to information they legally they are not. They try forcing you to give up private health information that is not exactly required by state. They are social workers not doctors or nurses. They try to violate your 4th amendment rights. While trying to control your 2nd amendment rights. We were more then willing to comply with state regulations when it came to our 2nd amendment but they went as far as to demand we open our vaults and show and tell them each item in our possession. I informed the state of this and they once again agreed NCHS had zero right to demand this information from us. So from a class that was to have 4 families they got zero foster families. The social worker on our case was a joke. She made remarks makes me say god help the kids she looks over. Due to this inner action I was turned off from wanting to help what seems to be a broken system. Now with a year passing I might get my spouse to look into other...

Our caseworker became like part of our family and we have a #BeautifulOpenAdoption with our son’s birthmother. Additionally, their childcare/preschool is like a little hidden gem....
Read moreGreat organization! 3 years ago, we went through them to provide adoption support for our son's adoption. We had a caseworker and our son's birth parents did as well. They helped us build a good relationship and walked us through the process. We plan to work with them again...
