Been here dozens of times. Taken tours of the farm, supported for years. Sadly one entitled young lady of an employee may have ruined all my support.

Never had an issue with a purchase before but bought some muffins and they were rock hard and spoiled. Figured I’d mention it next time, well boy that was the wrong thing to do. I mentioned that last purchase I bought some spoiled muffins and was wondering if I could get another pack comped. You would have thought I’d asked for $100. Immediately defensive said I must have bought a red tag item and they “don’t guarantee” those items. (What?!) she stated she “only works here and can’t help me”. (What?!!) then said “you can call my boss” proceeded to pick up the phone and dial before I could respond. When whomever she was calling didn’t answer she wrote the number down and threw it at me. I honestly felt like I was being pranked.

Ahem.. I’m confused. Why was this the escalation? I politely explained my issue and end up getting a number thrown at me? Wild. I still have no idea what their policies are but I’m pretty sure how she handled it did not follow protocol. Hoping to hear back from the stranger I called from number she gave me since now it’s a customer service and quality...

Sweet corn starts in June! They plant some in Georgia so we can have it at the start of summer. It was so good. The strawberries were huge. Sometimes big ones are hollow and sour, but these were dense and sweet. Raspberries the same way. Green beans were fresh and bright green. Grabbed a chicken salad from the fridge since it was my favorite recipe made with grapes. I love the variety. This stand and the farmer's market are my summer go to. Update: the local corn is ready and worth the wait. We've gone back every week to feast on the strawberries. Tried the watermelon, onions, and tomatoes. Everything has been fresh and tasty. The yellow watermelon was the best I have had since I lived In New Mexico. I will not buy a watermelon any where else. These grocery stores sell mushy nasty melons but this produce stand sells the best. This watermelon was crisp/crunchy juicy, sweet and tasty. Even the other half after almost week in saran wrap.
