Cycle gear was thankfully willing to work with me as needed, over all.
The jeans I purchased aren't worth your time to purchase, though. I ordered (online) two pair of Iron workers jeans. Because of the uncertainty of which size was intended to fit my measurements, during my first attempt, I ordered a size 4. They didn't fit, of course, so I returned them and ordered size 6. When the size 6 arrived, only one pair fit. One pair fit the same way as the size 4 had fit (not at all and waaaay too small). Both were labeled exactly the same, though. So I returned the small pair and was sent another size 6. Interestingly, I received yet another too small pair, still fully labeled as a size 6.
So I decided to exchange in store to ensure I got a pair that fits. In person, I discovered their size 6 was again too small. I did find a pair labeled as a size 10, though, which fit the same as the size 6 I had at home. So... What I discovered is that the iron workers brand doesn't have anyone ensuring their sizes have any standards, so there's simply no way for you to know what size you'll actually get, irregardless of the labels on the pants. So, good luck!
For the record, the gentleman who helped me in store was incredibly patient with my overly emotional frustration and cared very much about my well-being. He should...
Read moreI just bought my first bike, and needed to get all the gear to go with it. I went to Cycle Gear on the recommendation of a friend who rides a lot, and figured I'd browse a bit and get some ideas, not intending to buy my gear just yet.
I was greeted by Sam, and he knew IMMEDIATELY, without measuring, what size helmet, jacket, and gloves I needed. He showed me the range of prices, explained the difference in quality, and found me the perfect fit for me and my budget. I walked out of the store with everything I needed, and it took less than an hour.
I've shopped for socks longer than it took me to get a sick leather jacket, gloves, and a great fitting helmet. I can't believe how easy Sam made it for me.
I will only buy gear from Cycle Gear for as long as I own a bike. Great store,...
Read moreI ordered a front and back tire for my motorcycle. The tires came in so I took the rims and tires to them for cycle gear to put on. The man at the counter told me he had already put 7 tires on that day and was too tired to do anymore. I told them I’d take them home and do it myself, that’s when I discovered the rear tire was the wrong size. The tire that they ordered was correct, the tire they sent was wrong. So I had them swap it out and order another one same size hoping they’d send the right one. Nope. Wrong one again. Size ordered was correct, size that came in was wrong. I’m now on my 3rd order of tires. My bikes been down over 3 weeks because of them. Once they get this order right I’ll never buy from them again. Go somewhere your money and...
