For being such a large craft store, they always seem to be out of what I went there for. They usually have in-store coupons and if you join their membership program, you will get text messages or emails with additional goodies once in awhile. For the most part, the store is well-stocked, clean, and organized.
As a matter of fact, I was just there yesterday and I did learn something. There is a catch to every coupon. When they say 20% off your entire order including sale items, you better flip the coupon over. Because if sale items are listed with certain titles like doorbuster, daily deal, and stuff like that, 20% does not apply. I have trouble with their advertising.
For the most part the employees are all very friendly. The one thing I find odd is that they tried to explain that Michaels online is totally different and a separate entity 4 a brick-and-mortar store. I have not yet figured that out, but they will not match or honor each other's prices. There must be some truth to that there somehow.
Also convenient about the stores that they are open at least a half hour after all the other stores close. So if you're in a hurry to go get bath gel, by all means go get that first you still have time. All in all it's a good place to shop for...

Then I asked where the restrooms were. The employee I asked pointed where it was then she proceeded to follow. I thought she was trying to make sure found it OK. But stop near them. When I came out she was still standing were she stopped. I ignored it. Then i went to get a sketch pad. She followed me again. So I asked for a manager and he said "it's their job" OK so now I know where that training came from. Be better and get better training skills. So...
Read moreI made 2 online orders for pickup on 12/5. I had the most incompetent rude employee EVER! Shannon says she has "both orders". I have to call when I get home about the missing order. She wanted to argue over items in the second order saying that she gave them to me. When I kept explaining to her what items I did receive, she wanted to argue, and overtalk me the whole time.
