Took my son here to play some games at their arcade and sadly, found it run down, very dirty and 12 games either not turned on our broken down. I can't tell you when the floors were last vacuumed. 3 of the games you couldn't even put tokens into. Staff was bouncing from the front desk and the prize counter. This unfortunately meant you would just have to wait around until they were done up front, to redeem your ticket. This place used to be better staffed and cleaner but I won't be going back until they get their act together. By the way, we were there in the morning, so the messy floors had been from the previous day, or month, as it would be more likely.
Update 2022 - from two stars to one. We all hope for improvements, but this place just doesn't seem to care. No adult sized putter's for mini golf, check. Door doesn't lock in the bathroom stall, check. Oh look no toilet paper for my son to use in there, check. Hand dryer broken, yep. No paper towels either? Awesome. When I asked about the full sized putter, I was told to go look around outside to see if I could find one, as if I needed to duel another parent and take theirs because this place only has like 7 putter's! The river on the mini golf course wasn't on. There were loose and broken stones all over. The "hazards" were actually hazardous as in when I put my hand on one of the logs coming out of the middle of the hole where exposed screws were sticking out. Or the fact the each had so much rotting wood they were almost failing over. It's not worth the money and it's not worth the visit. Check out the photos...
Read moreWhat a sad state of affairs. Batting cages were great before 2020. Most if not all cages were working, and was fun to go and let off some steam. They used to be maintained well, and nothing beats playing outside.
I don't know if new management took over in the last few years or they are no longer making a profit, but the batting cages have been closed the the majority of the times that I have attempted to go. I noticed that most cages were closed in 2022, and now all of them in 2023 and 2024.
I just got back from there today (7/1/24) and the batting cages have a large "closed" sign over the door that leads to them, as well as a digital closed sign on the led screen behind the counter that shows the prices for the cages. Looks permanent, but I couldn't ask because the line was too long (maybe for the arcade?) and not worth waiting in.
If you can maintain the bowling, you can maintain the cages. Not just have an employee run out there and throw the balls towards the machine, but have a technician service it on a regular basis, as I would guess you do for the bowling and possibly arcade machines.
It might be time to sell this place and hopefully the new owner will have more energy, time and money to invest into bringing it back to life.
Its currently like playing on a single basketball hoop with no net. It can be done, but its sad. On second thought.. since the cages are fully out of order, its like playing basketball...
Read moreDO NOT GO HERE FOR THE BATTING CAGES. The other stuff is fine but the batting cages are beat to sh**. I've been forced to go here for almost 2 years because of distance and I can guarantee you that only 3 out if 8 cages will be working. The 3 that do work will jam up on you at least once. You usually have to go inside to ask for help, but the machines are so bad that you can't really blame the general staff for not being able to fix them. The mid-speed cages have had "out of order" signs hanging on them for over 6 months. Embarrassing, as the investment to fix them would be no more than a couple hours if labor.
Night time is even worse, as most of the lighting is broken -- which is relatively important when balls are getting shot at you. The lights on the slow cages usually work, but the fastest cages literally have no lights. Since the medium cages never work -- you're left with the choice between well lit, super slow pitches - or - super fast cages that are in the dark -- don't come here expecting to work on your game.
Generally just terrible maintenance and management of the batting cage. These guys are good with golf, arcades, bowling... But it's clear they don't understand the little things when it comes to baseball. Don't be that guy that blows the $35 on...
