FATTY PATTY — Restaurant in Shelton

I thought I was going to Fatty Patty but when I walked in I saw it was Dave's Burger Bar. The sign outside still said Fatty Patty. The food was very bland. The fries were the best part of the meal and they weren't great. It was probably the worst burger I have ever had due to its lack of taste. As part of our $44.88 order my son ordered a double cheeseburger for $10.75. We paid for our food and literally 30 seconds later my son asked if he could change his order to a chopped cheese, which cost $11.25 and has almost all the same ingredients. We were told we could not change the order because the chopped cheese cost .50 cents more. I said I will pay the .50 cent difference. The guy at the register said he didn't have a way to charge us the .50 cent difference. I said I will just give you 2 quarters and he said he did not have a way to open the register and his manager wasn't there to open it. The restaurant was COMPLETELY EMPTY. There wasn't another customer in sight the entire time we were there... about 30 minutes. But still they wouldn't change my sons order (that they hadn't even started preparing) because they didn't have a way to collect my .50 cents after I had just paid $44.88. There weren't any customers there and clearly they need business. Their bad customer service and very bland food is why I don't expect them to be open for very long and would never go...

Ordered a chicken sandwich which was worst chicken sandwich EVER!! I physically couldn't bite threw it. It was that Rubberized! Tried to go back with uneaten sandwich for refund. No Luck, manager wasn't there. Left my name and phone number for manager to call. No Call back! Go back 2 days later, still no manager, no refund. I was told I was suppose to call. Because manager is in and out thru out the day. So how do I know when to call? Why was I asked to leave my number? Apparently they don't train their personal. Served me what I believe to be re cooked chicken and a cashier that can't do refunds and a manager that doesn't follow up. No wonder the place is always empty....

Such a great place. My dad and I drive past ot a lot, and we were talking and decided it was finally time to just give it a try, and I'm so glad we did. I can understand why some people might think it's very comparable to Five Guys because flavor wise it's similar (not exactly the same, but you definitely get Five Guys vibes) which isn't a problem at all because I love Five Guys! Also, much better prices than Five Guys. Great service, were greeted kindly right as we walked in, great food, the fries were honestly one of the best burger joint fries I've ever had, and overall great place to go. Definitely will...
