This place is ridiculous. I’m not quite sure how difficult it is to get a party order correct but Donut Crazy seems to have that down. Tonight I picked up an order of mini donuts on behalf of my mom; the kid (and I mean like 16 years old) at the counter gave me a dozen donuts. I said no my mom ordered nine dozen. She then proceeded to hand me a bag of donuts and said “oh you had the mini ones, my boss told us nothing about this order but these are them.” After driving to our venue and unpacking our donuts there were only three dozen. I immediately called and they said that their boss was gone for the day and once again proceed to tell me they knew nothing about the order. I told them to get ahold of their boss. When she called back she said her boss told her that’s what we ordered and they didn’t make anything else. I told her to give me her boss’s number. My mom called MaryAnn and she said she must have given away our order to someone else. We had to go back and they gave us six dozen donuts (which were stale leftover donuts from the day and half of which we didn’t order). I want to point out this is the SECOND time this happened. In 2016 we ordered from this same location for my bridal shower and they gave us half the order. They ended up refunding us. How difficult is it to get an order right? This place is a joke. They owe us money back for making us coming back out there and giving our order away to someone else. Never again will we support...
Read moreStandard donuts and 'crazy' donuts. Crazies are pricey so ask first because the prices aren't posted. We didn't try their coffee, although at noon, the drive thru was busy. The donuts were good but very large and fillings were skimpy-the focus was on the toppings. One donut is enough for 2 people. One of the solid donuts didn't have any filling. We didn't know if it was a mistake or on purpose. We didn't care for the 'famous' cannoli donut. The filling wasn't authentic tasting. The Hostess chocolate cupcake donut was very dry-chocolate cakey donut. The filling and icing on that one were very good. The brown sugar pop tart donut was pretty good. The homemade pop tarts on top were very good. I would buy those separately. From a donut dough perspective, the donuts aren't great. It's all in the toppings. We would have been more excited if the donuts themselves were more delicious. We were glad we finally tried this place. It's worth a stop as novelty but doubt we will be back. The building is set back with a small sign but there are places near by to turn around. It is not in a commercially-active section of town, so keep your...
Read moreI heard so many good things about this place, that I had to try it for myself. I went in and thought I was in heaven. So many different choices and I didn't know where to start. I read the sign and somehow misread the prices. I didn't really that the really good looking donuts were all what they call "specialty donuts" and are way more expensive then regular ones. Either way I ended up with 10 "specialties" and 6 regular. It cost me about 33 dollars but I still paid the hefty price and couldn't wait to bring it home to the family party. They were not good! Don't get me wrong, the regular donuts were delicious but nothing more special than any other donut place. The specialty ones were topped with stale cereal, stale cookies, and stale candy bars. Nothing on it was fresh. I would have been better off buying a chocolate frosted donut and putting toppings on myself. Don't waste your money and stick with the regulars. You will be very...
