Belk — Local services in Orangeburg

It could be better, when I go to belks in orangeburg SC, I always think, is this store going out of business, there seems to be clothes everywhere, in no type of order, and a lot of it leans toward the older generation, they also have business attire, but you have to shift through the junk to find a couple of good pieces, like going on a treasure hunt.....I expect something like this from tjmaxx, Ross, Citi trends, Roses, notice these are all bargain stores, but when you can go into a store like It's Fashion and they have things in order, something is wrong, maybe it's not belks maybe it's whomever is doing the ordering, and organizing the store but needless to say the store leaves a lot...

It's a nice remodel establishment, very clean & bright but you can't find many Employees on the floor and they may only have 1 or 2 registers open. Some nice items to select from... The one thing I love now is the "Belk App" oneday I went into Belk an a employee asked did I have the app and I was like "No" He said scan this QR code and download the app because sometimes the price they have in the store could be more then the price on the app and if you let the cashier know you’ll get it for the price listed on the app and you can use it for a price checker. I'm glad I downloaded the app because you can't find people working & the app has come in...

Waited at the perfume counter over 30 minutes to purchase a fragrance. Knew exactly what I wanted, just needed clerk to get it. Had 2 customers in front of me, only one clerk. She had to take each purchase across the store to the register in ladies clothing, you followed her and you waited in line another 20 minutes because there was only one clerk. It was definitely not the clerks fault. They were going in 5 directions. I try to shop locally, but when this happens it reminds me why we shop online. Management needs to step...
