Cicis Pizza — Restaurant in Orangeburg

My family and i came to this cici pizza to eat for my son's birthday. The food was OK and the service was OK also until the cici game zone pay card machine took my son's money and didn't produce a card for him. I went to speak with the girl at the register and she said that she had to call the manager so he could look at the cameras to make sure my son put money in the machine. "Funky attitude" We kept eating and waited to hear back from her and someone in the restaurant but I had to get up and speak to someone else. Long story short someone else tried to help but got nowhere. The guy tried to open the machine but couldn't then just walked off without saying anything. He wasn't the problem though. Before we left I went back to the register and talked to the girl who I spoke to earlier about it. Needless to say she had a funky attitude about it when all she had to do was follow up the first time. Then tells me that the manager is out of town and to write my name and number down and when he/she gets back they will reach out to me. So who is running that store if there isn't a manger on duty or even an assistant manager?? I don't live in town so I'm not in the area often. This is my first time being here and first time was definitely the worst especially for my kids because they wanted a pizza buffet and I try to come through for my kids when I can. That was a part of his birthday money and they just didn't care because at the end of the day it's not them. I hope I hear from the manager about this matter because I will leave another review about that if no one...

As we were winding down our meal and about ready to leave, we watched as the cashier brought out a broom, mop and bucket. my daughters and I witnessed the cashier sweep the front areas by the cashier station behind the cash register and behind the soup and salad bar. The pizza cook was standing there watching her. Then when she was done sweeping, she proceeded to mop back there. Apparently, she wasn't doing it right and the pizza maker stepped in and showed her how it was done. He mopped the whole area and put down the mop. They both sanitized their hands. He went to make another pizza and she went to check in a family that walked into the restaurant. Neither one of them washed their hands. She served the family and he cooked more pizzas and whatever else he was making. We will never return to eat here again. Sanitizing your hands is not washing your hands. All I could think of is that they splashed a little germ-x on without washing their hands and then proceeded to touch and make our food and serve it to us. For all I know, they could have also scrubbed the toilets when they kept going in the back area and not have washed their hands. That's not the only thing either. NO ONE WAS WEARING ANY GLOVES!!! I never noticed this until that night. I also saw a little Spanish lady scratch her leg and then pat out some pizza dough to make the pizza. She looked right at me too and know that I saw what she did. She too was not wearing gloves. How in the world? !?! NEVER NEVER NEVER going...

We stopped at Cici's Pizza in Orangeburg, SC on our way to Florida Vacay. Deacon absolutely loves this place and it was Saige's first Cici's.

The kids enjoyed watching cartoons on the TV and playing in the game area. Everyone enjoyed dining on the Pizza Buffet and I had to get some salad along with Kayla Beth Fields. Very reasonably priced!

June 2023: On our way home to West Virginia from Florida, we stopped in Orangeburg SC for lunch. Deacon fell in love with Cici's Pizza in Florida and wanted me to find another one.

My Yelp app helped me to locate this restaurant quite easily off the interstate.

This location was very nice! The staff was very nice. This location was definitely cheaper in price than the Orlando location. Here the drinks were included in the price of the buffet. They had many Pizza options, cheesy bread sticks with marinara and Alfredo sauce, pasta, salad and desserts...Great food!!!

They also had a separate room with video games. Deacon loved this restaurant and he ate very well. We all did!! Definitely recommend and it's a great value for what you are able to eat! Definitely you...
