Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Orangeburg

It's literally the worst pizza ever. It used to be good, but something has changed. Order pizza the first time, and everything was wrong. Called the store to get missing items and was told they would be delivered. Well, never delivered. Received an email stating they take pride in the food and will honor a free reorder. A month later, we decided to give them another try. Honestly, I don't know why, but I thought maybe they got it together. Ordered and pizza delivered. Well, open pizza and the pizza was a complete mess. Had toppings under the crust and on the top of the box. Looked like some one decided to flip the box. Called the store and asked for a replacement and was asked if I could pick it up. Really? The store said we would deliver another soon. An hour later, there was no pizza. Called the store to be told it was just picked up. Ok, well received pizza 15 minutes later, and the pizza is not even the pizza I ordered to begin with. This store is a complete joke. Papa John's needs to find a better GM or...

The Papa John’s website needs a customize option where you describe and give special instructions. Otherwise, you have to call and that defeats the purpose of ordering online. The food is great, usually. I ordered the new Papadia philly cheese steak. It was delicious!!! I loved the flavor, however, it didn’t have a lot of filling like the photo. The presentation lacked tremendously. I maybe had a teaspoon of meat & cheese and lots of peppers and onions. The outer crust was inedible because it was simply too hard and crusty, again unlike the photos. The size is also dramatized a bit. The management is horrible!!! I ordered a pizza and the guy Elijah said it would take 1 hour to get to my address. I had to call several times because it was already going on 2 hours. When I called the last time he said that the driver told him nobody answered the door when my husband was outside waiting for the pizza!!!
