This company is dishonest and completely trash. DO NOT BUY you can NOT get warrantee even when its defective materials. I Purchased this completely trash blender from COSTCO and used it to make less than 30 Orange Smoothies. The blade in the jar has broken and spins on the shaft. Called customer service at Blendtec and they were as dishonest as they could be trying to talk about a rubber gasket that is not even what I was talking about and told me to buy another one as they don't warrantee the product after use. So what they are saying is if you buy a car and the transmission fails a block aways not their problem. Very dishonest. All i can do is warn you if you are thinking of buying this product, this company does not care about reputation or customers or material failure of products they make. There are many other better brands out there I suggest using anyone other than these scammers. I called back to customer service to file a complaint to corporate they gave me a number that is nothing but a dumpster box and never received a response after leaving a message. Called back to customer service to ask to speak to someone higher to report the issue too and was told there is no one they can transfer you too but you can call the robo-number that just gives you a mail box that wont be answered. Worst company ever. I live in Utah 20 min from this horrible company. Goes to show you buying local is not always...

Amazing! I seriously love my Blendtec and have been very impressed with their customer service. I thought for years that I wanted one but didn't want to spend that much on a blender. I finally decided to buy a used one on a local website. As soon as I got it, I was amazed by its blending power. I have used my Ninja almost daily for years, and the taste difference is noticeable because the Blendtec blends so well that no little pieces of spinach, dates, or even carrots are noticeable. This makes it so that my young kids like smoothies better, and they don't know they're eating veggies. :) I was really impressed with the customer service because the used one I bought started having a serious issue with the jar. When I called the company, they helped me figure out the problem. They even gave me a discount on the new jar (even though I bought it used!). The person told me that the warranty holds even if it's sold. It was just past the jar's 3-year warranty date, and so that's why I needed to pay for the new one. Still, I thought this was great that they didn't do what most companies would have done, which was voiding the warranty because I bought it from someone else.
