So, I have known about suggestions for many years. I used to get my hair done here for years a while back until I started going to a friend. I got married two weeks ago and wanted to get my hair styled for my rehearsal dinner, the night before the wedding. I figured it'd be easy, and the price wasn't bad. I had gotten tape in extensions done 3 weeks before I went in. They were all fine and put in my hair really well. During the appointment the girl was blow drying my hair and she was yanking on the extensions while round brushing. I've never had tape ins but figured it'd be fine. I'm also not a fussy person and my head is not sensitive, although I did notice intense pulling. When she was done she had basically pulled one of my extensions out and it was hanging by a few hairs, literally. I mentioned it to her and she acted like she didn't really do that, even though it was clear she did. She asked how long I had my tape ins, obviously wanting to see if they were close to falling out, but 3 weeks is not nearly enough time to have that happen, my other extensions on my hair were also close to my hairline, which shows that they were done recently. I asked her to fix it and she gave weird looks to the other stylist around and was pretty much silent and gave my ZERO reassurance that she could help me out. She said wellll if I take it out it will leave oil in your hair... so basically saying she couldn't. Again, I'm not pushy at all so I asked like twice and I could tell she didn't want to fix it so I just gave up. But I just thought how unbelievably rude customer service you give to someone in general, but especially the day before your wedding?! No one wants to walk around with an extension sticking out of your head, but especially on your wedding day. Well, after all of that I finally just asked if she thought it would fall out and she said no it should be fine. I couldn't argue with her anymore at this point because she did not want to help. I left and I even tipped her because I always tip people but looking back on it, i definitely wish I didn't. The end of this story is, on my wedding day I wore my hair down and curly. My stylist on that day tried to poof my hair over the extension, which worked for half of the day. By the end of the day it was sticking out and i was paranoid all day about it. Which is the last thing I wanted to worry about. The first day I washed my hair on my honeymoon, the extension fell out and I had to deal with lopsided hair and the annoyance of the fact that I even went here. I called over a week ago to see what Suggestions would do to fix this. I left a voicemail and got zero response. I'm only inclined to leave this review because they didn't even try to help me out or call back. Terrible customer service, and very inexperienced stylists....

I travel a ways and pass several salons along the way. I've come for years for that very reason.
The girls here are knowledgeable and professional.
AMBER C. Is remarkable because her talents are so versatile coupled with an artistic ability to understand hair. She is very knowledgeable and can explain the process. Her optimism and cheery attitude make any client feel at ease.
ANNIE is another incredible stylist. She pays attention to details and has experience coloring and styling.
I write this not to sound like an advertisement but to give credit where talent truly thrives.
There are many qualities to love about this salon. Several girls have been working here just as long as I have be coming, and they work hard because there is a love for what they do.
It is absolutely worth the try! After all, "Nothing makes a woman more beautiful than the belief that she is beautiful." Let these amazing ladies help you highlight, paint, wax, and style all...
Read moreMy sister comes here frequently so I thought that I would try it. I showed my stylist the picture of what I had in mind. It didn't have to match, but just something like it. She said she could do it, so trusting her I let her do her thing. She was rough and did it fast--as if she was in a hurry. There was a lot of dye on my face, but she assured me she would clean it off. We were almost done and it was nothing like I had imagined. It was okay, I liked it, it just was NOTHING like what I had asked for. Knowing she had somewhere to get to, I didn't want to bother her to change it. But I did want all the dye off my face. She did that quickly as well--telling me how to do it at home. When I paid it was extremely overpriced and I did not think that it matched the service I got. Once I had left and got to look at my face up close in the mirror there was still dye ALL over my face. It was as if she didn't clean it off at all. I was not impressed at all. I paid way too much to be this disappointed. I would not recommend this...
