Wow, I took a group of Webelos to tour the Orem Heritage Museum today. It had been a few years- the last time I went, the museum was located in the upper level of the theater next door.
The historical value of this place and the knowledge possessed by our fabulous tour guide certainly merit a unique location. Mr. Campbell was such a good speaker- he imparted to the boys a deep love of country, love of God and love of his fallen brothers; both from his own family, and his company in Korea. Read moreThis was a really nice little museum. I have been a resident of Orem for 7 years and it was fun to learn more about the history of the city. The museum has some good displays in there that teach and share stories about the major milestones of the city. The guide at the museum was very friendly and very knowledgeable. A bit of the museum is actually personal to him too, he has some war stories of him and his family with lots of gear to show off.
