We came to wingers because my daughter picked to go here for her 16th birthday dinner. We used to go to wingers ALL the time and loved it but moved to far away to come much anymore. Well this time was absolutely ridiculous! First we ordered 2 appetizers, chips and salsa and cheese fries. Waited and waited never got them. But our food, well some of it comes out. So we canceled our chips and salsa but our daughter still wanted her cheese fries. All the adults got their food and she said we would get the kids food soon. After 15 minutes she comes out to say there was another order so the kids food will be out soon. Another 10 minutes and we finally get 2 of the 3. Then 5 minutes later the last one finally came out. What did the kids get? 2 got chicken Alfredo and the other got grilled cheese. What one was the last one to come out after all that time? The grilled cheese…… oh and then we finally got the cheese fries too. I guess someone else who ordered after us got all their food first and we just had to wait? So all the adults are done eating, and the kids just got their food. Nice. Then as we’re eating, did she come check on us or anything? Nope not at all. And if your questioning the time frame, I did time it after I saw her go sit down at the both, so yeah those times are correct!
What was our waitress doing you ask. Well she was sitting down at a booth by the front. So yeah she wasn’t busy. We’re here on a Sunday maybe 4 other families here is all, yip that’s how busy it was that we had to wait all that time.
Food was alright, but service was literally the worst from anywhere we’ve ever been.
I do have to say the other waitress that was there was on top of things for her tables! She even brought out apples for kids at a table by us. She was on top of their drinks, they got their chips and salsa and everything. And all their food came out together,...

I took my wife and daughter here for lunch on a Tuesday about 20 minutes after they opened. This will be important later.
My wife ordered a burger which was actually quite good and the reason for one positive star. The other positive star is for our server who was great, she did her job and I have no complaints.
Now for the bad news. I ordered 8 wings, and let it be known that i get wings pretty much anywhere they are available, just to see how they are. I haven't been to a Wingers in 10 years and used to like it, so I figured I'd see how they are these days. I got 4 with amazing sauce and 4 with a habanero dry rub.
The Saucy Ones: The sauce was ok, but the wings were basically all tendon and bone. Ya they looked big, but had maybe 1 edible bite of chicken on each, which was so damn dry the sauce couldn't save it.
The Dry Rub: Habanero should have at least a little kick. I know it's Utah and hot food isn't popular, but why have an option for it if it's going to disappoint those who order it expecting the heat? First the chicken on these was even worse than the saucy wings, so dry. Looks like they were from yesterday, maybe a microwave reheat. I've had better day 3 wings reheated at my house. The 'dry rub' is probably popcorn flavoring, you know the kind you shake out and it has different 'flavors' of salt? That's what this tastes like.
With wings in the name I was expecting wings that are at least worth eating. Ya I ate the ones I ordered because they cost 11.50... for yesterday's appetizers thrown in a microwave and covered in salt.
We did not get our money's worth at all, as the fries were not good (probably reheated as well) and my daughters chicken fingers were 70% breading, 10% oil, 20% chicken.
If you are gonna serve fast food quality food, at least charge...
Read moreUpdated review.... I am going to leave my original post because we did experience it. However, Wingers reached out to me and I decided to give them another chance. Completely different experience. This is how it should be every time. First off no wait on being seated, no wait on service, food , refills or the check, our server was wonderful, actually probably one of the best we have had, very polite and prompt, had all the food items that we ordered, drinks were refilled, restaurant temperature was nice. We didn't order beer this time so I cannot say if that experience was better.
Original review... This specific Wingers is not good. I used go to the one in Provo, but decided to go to this one because it is now closer. I understand places are short staffed right now so the wait time is kinda the standard now days. The restaurant was extremely HOT and humid, the thermostat read 81° it was awful for us customers so I can imagine how bad it was for the staff. If you order beer you can't get it till your food comes out??? What kind of place does this? We ordered and appetizer (even though they were out of what we wanted) and they didn't even bring us water while we were waiting for our entrées. The other 4 people that ordered soda got no Refills. They were out of listed entrée items and didn't tell us until we got our meals without them, than offered to substitute them, but Never did! No discount or any type of reconciliation, just excuses from the manager. If you can't keep your store at a decent temperature, staffed, your customers at least content, food items....Maybe you...
