Two of us came in, without a reservation, for dinner on a Saturday night. We were seated immediately. The atmosphere of the main dining area has subdued lighting, which was nice. The music was a little loud, but not overbearing. The 'free' pita slices and hummus was weird for a pizza place, but it wasn't bad. We ordered an appetizer of the Bianca bread. It came out piping hot. It seemed that the edges and top were almost burned, but it didn't taste burned. It was crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The oil and balsamic dipping sauce was tasty and paired well with the parmesan topping on the bread. We ordered two pizzas (the pepperoni with added sausage and the BBQ chicken with added bacon). They came out with a tiny bit of charring (leoparding, if you will) on the top of the crust and the bottoms were crisp but not burnt. I'm not a fan of cornmeal on the bottom of a pizza, but it wasn't excessive and didn't detract from the experience. The crust had a nice, crisp bite with a soft interior and chew. The toppings were cooked but not burned, as can happen with thin pepperoni. The sausage was spread evenly over the entire pizza and every bite (except the crust, of course) has sufficient toppings. The fresh mozzarella on the pizza didn't smother everything but was balanced and supported the entire pie. The BBQ pizza had a nice sweetness that contrasted well with the savory of the chicken and the bacon. The chicken is shredded and clearly not from some bag of prepared, frozen chicken. For some people the chicken might have seemed dry, but the texture of the shredded chicken really added a nice chewiness to the crispness of the crust. The bacon was thick, crisp chunks and was clearly not just thrown on from a bag of bacon bits. The crust of both pizzas were just right. Shirley was our server and was friendly and attentive without being pushy or annoying. The service, for a custom pizza restaurant, was fairly quick - especially because the place was packed by the time we were eating. The only downside, if there is one, is that it is kind of expensive for a pizza place. However, you get what you pay for the the pizza was definitely worth it. Overall, this is the place to go for gourmet, wood-fired pizza with handmade crust and the highest quality toppings. The service was subdued and attentive. I will definitely try this place again...and not just for the pizza!

TL;DR Finding this place made my week. If you like authentic Italian-style pizza you wont be disappointed. This pizza is fantastic. Just to establish a bit of ethos, I want to preface my review by saying that I’m a highly critical foodie and pizza was a staple in my diet during the years I lived in Italy. I like to think my opinion is unbiased and trustworthy. I think the best test of any pizzeria is how well they can do a Margherita, so that’s what I ordered. They crushed it. The crust had the perfect bite to it and it was crispy to the very center without being burnt (see pics). The sauce was fresh and the perfect balance of sweet and tart. The cheese surprised me a bit (in a good way) as the clumps we’re creamy, seemed to be more of a burrata or stracciatella than a traditional fresh mozzarella. I added a bit more salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (chili-infused olive oil is my usual preference but it already had some oil on top) after the first couple of slices, but it was fantastic just as it came. Thoroughly enjoyed every bite. They also provided complimentary hummus and pita strips before the meal—a little untraditional but undoubtedly delicious (and probably less fattening than the alternative olive oil and balsamic with bread lol). Didn’t catch my server’s name but she was friendly and attentive. All of the staff was friendly. Looking forward to going back and trying their other menu options.

I have used to love this restaurant. It was the place I'd take everyone too when they said, "I want pizza." With that being said, I went on Dec. 16th 2021 at lunch time hoping to have some decent service to get us back to work. And as some of the other reviewers mentioned, it was some of the SLOWEST service I've ever had. Staffing shortages aside, there are times we're seeing the server completely ignoring our requests while talking to another member of the staff. We ordered drinks and had to wait almost 20 minutes before they showed up. When they messed up one of the drinks, someone in our party had to wait an additional 10 minutes for a ginger ale. Just surprised, since they didn't appear to be that busy at the time. Our server was Conner. Entered for our reservation at 12:20, exited the restaurant at 2pm. As for the food, I ordered the Spicy Pig, Braised beef short-rib and the marinated olives. The short-rib came out burned and not exactly as tender as I remember it being. Not much food for $17, skip it. My friend's Hot Pink pizza came out uncut and without her side of arugula on top. My Spicy pig was supposed to have a fried egg on top, that was skipped. The marinated olives were cold, whereas they are usually warmed. It was just an odd experience to be honest. One that will make me not likely to return in the near future. I hope they get their priorities figured out. It used to be a great joint!

I'm one of those people who hate to leave reviews since opinions are subjective, but Ever since we tried this restaurant the first time and the service was great and the pizza was really good, we have been craving to go back, today August 22nd 2020 we made a reservation for 6:30 showed up a few minutes early and they sat us down right away, brought us water, and the waitress came and we told her it had been a long time since we were at the restaurant, she took our drink orders, and proceeded to bring them and then take our food orders, pretty standard so far, our appetizer came at a regular time, in the middle of our appetizer the complimentary bread and hummus showed up, which my wife thought it was odd since that is the first thing that is supposed to come, anyway we finished the appetizer and the bread, and the waitress came and told us that the pizza was on the way, we sat and waited and waited and waited, the waitress finally came and say sorry but it seems the kitchen is a little backed up and then left, we waited and waited some more, the table next to us which came in way after us got their pizzas before us so that ticked us off, so we told the waitress how come they got theirs before us and all she said was "I don't know how the tickets are coming out, I'll go check on it" we waited again, and then my wife's pizza finally showed up, a bbq chicken pizza, she order it with extra mushrooms which is a $4 extra charge and the pizza had probably the equivalent to one mushroom sliced over the whole pizza, I asked my wife if she thought that was worth the extra charge and she just shrugged, She did not start to eat because she said she wanted to wait until everyone had their pizza, well we waited for longer and the pizzas never came, at that point my wife was furious and we decided to get up and leave, our waitress was walking by and she acted surprised and kind of asked us what was going on? we told her we were leaving and that if she could please charge us for the appetizer and drinks we had, and she was like, ok, I am not going to lie, we were half expecting for her to say: why don't you let me talk to the manager and see if we can make this right but no, she went on to her computer and started ringing us up, and funny enough, the other pizzas started to come out and one of the other waitresses asked her which table those pizzas were supposed to go and we saw that she just tried to keep it quiet and kinda pointed out that it was ours but we were leaving, even at that point I was kinda expecting the manager to come and offer and explanation, or try and talk to us but again nothing, the waitress charged us $20.03, my wife handed a $50 bill and the waitress said sorry but we don't give cash back, my wife was furious and gave her a $20 and dug on her purse and found 3 pennies, put them on the waitress counter and my wife bolted out, believe it or not I was still hopeful someone would come forward and at least apologize, but no, nothing. I feel really bad about this kind of review, but I honestly had high hopes for what it was our second visit, especially after the first one was pleasant, needless to say we left hungry and ended up eating at some other pizza place were they treated us like people and our experience was way better. Hope this reaches management and they can figure out what happened and make sure that it doesn't happen to someone else, as for Us that was the last time we try Pizzeria...

Friday Night 5/21 at 7:30 pm.

I have eaten here a few times at lunch. Ordered a pizza and 4 breads online. Fairly busy night. Order had issues.

I walked in and talked to a gentlemen about my online order. He immediately snagged the first waitress (who was busy) to come greet me. At first, they attempted to give me the wrong order without checking the names. They thought they gave the order to a door dasher. The server at front kept trying to figure it out, which is fine. She was nice even though not having a real manager available to help her.

I returned to the gentlemen upfront, who was leaning over the welcome table with basketball shorts on. I went up and asked if he was the manager, which he said yes. I proceeded to tell him the situation, but got cut off. He responded, “they are taking care of it, I have all this going on” (waves hand towards entrance). I told him it didn’t seem he cared about the mix up, in which he replied something about the waitress will work on it. He ran back and forth to tables, with bad posture (frantic hurrying, impression of unease), while a glass broke.

I am very disappointed as I stand here at the entrance. It is a managers responsibility to solve issues, not host seating (and if short, manage a way to deal with it). That is why it is management. I worked in the restaurant industry for some time in grad school. I also work in management. If this is the owner, I feel bad for the company. If this is a manager hired, I would not hire him at all by his mannerisms’. The woman after me left vastly disappointed with his conversation. This guy can singly destroy this revenue by location within 6 months. Proper management pays attention to the problem and doesn’t push new numbers at the door. They also offer some kind of free dessert or a discount for a customer not being satisfied. On top of that the manager never tells a customer that their problem with their order is less important than getting numbers through the door. The other issue was they never processed my order and did not cook it. It was ordered at 6:30 and it said it would be ready by 7:15. At 7:30 the order was not processed and they didn’t even look at the order.

Food is good. Great atmosphere. Horrible management. I likely will not be back, or will place low priced orders for bread and go elsewhere where treated properly. I will have to research the owners of the company tonight, and if this non-gentlemen is still employed by them, it directly reflects on them, their beliefs and core values. I was vastly offended. I would not let this guy manage a car wash. Harsh, but true.

The only reason this is not 1 star is the waitress busting her butt to help while the “manager” did nothing and offered nothing but an insult. Mix ups happen. Human error exist. My problem is how you treat people and...
