The process of designing, purchasing, installing, and learning how to use my new home theater with Automation Design a+ Entertainment significantly exceeded my expectations! My son has his own contracting business and has established a great reputation in the Southwest Michigan area for design, quality and professionalism over the last ten years. Thanks to Peter's exceptional knowledge and expertise in lighting, automation and entertainment design, we ended up with a significantly superior design and layout to our original plan. He is a wonderful man and immediately makes you feel at ease. I always felt comfortable asking questions and with the level of information and explanation I received. All of the technicians that came to the house for the installation were professional and courteous. They made sure to go the extra mile to make sure I felt comfortable with the technology. Nicole who manages the scheduling and communicates with the customer, keeps the project on schedule better than anyone I've ever witnessed. That's really saying something, because I managed a group of high performing project managers, managing multi-million dollar projects at Pfizer. I am so thankful we had the opportunity to collaborate with Peter and his invaluable team to bring this project/dream to fruition! UPDATE: Beware!! The remote control system that Automation Design installs cannot be adjusted by the owner. If something doesn't work as it should with the remote after install, you will have to pay Automation Design to come out to adjust it. I recently installed a new router and our projector stopped working with the universal remote. I was told Automation Design charges $200 minimum per visit to troubleshoot something that I could likely fix myself if given access. They are basically holding my system hostage until I pay them to come out.

ORIGINAL: The Automation Design team installed a home theater system a number of months ago for us. The team was very knowledgeable and worked closely with the general contractor building out our room to facilitate installation of the AV equipment and ensure the optimal placement of the equipment.

Peter, Tyler, and Osdy do excellent work and are always striving to do right by the customer. Peter helped to connect me with individuals for other components of the build and when a problem occurred with the chairs, Peter was our number one advocate to get it corrected.
