Pizza Ranch — Restaurant in Owatonna

My experience was not very good this is the first time I've ever wrote a bad review about anyone my youngest sister was having her birthday and seven of us came in there all of an elderly age 50 and above and went to have our meal my oldest sister wanted to buy and my younger sister had a card we couldn't put the seven people on the card okay fine some kind of weird supposedly fraud thing where people must be getting free meals okay so then I said well can we get a new card will sure gave us a new card but we couldn't use it awesome so that was kind of a bummer then went to have a chicken wing no chicken wings okay no big deal but there's a bloody piece of chicken in there it's oozing blood kind of move it off to the side alright come back I don't know 15 minutes later to see if they had chicken wings nope bloody piece of chicken still sitting there picked it out of the container put it on the side they had workers and the manager who I assumed was the manager they had work coming out they had added more chicken but they didn't take out the piece of chicken losing blood that customers could see really and then I got a dirty look from them as they came out and kind of picked up the one that I had set out on the counter that was oozing blood hey that was kind of a bummer no one even bothered to come our table but one young man for the whole hour we're sitting there now granted we got there at 7 and they closed at 8 but at like 4 minutes after 8 the one young lady comes in with this huge toat and drops it onto a table right next to us awesome 7 full adult meals and will you can see we're starting to get ready to leave and you drop it on a table very loudly right next to us not very personable people their manager that night or whoever she was totally not personable I was not impressed I'm really so upset that that's the way our night ended our whole day was very nice spent together and that night ended that way I'm actually upset enough that I'm pretty sure I'm going to try and figure out how to get ahold of your...

This is the 2nd Pizza Ranch I have been to. I paid before letting the homeowner's kids and their southern cousins loose to the buffet. Cody, was cashiering and maybe was having a bad day....idk nor do I care. I dropped $80, and the LEAST he could have done was say thank you or thanks, or how ever he could muster up a cordial act of appreciation because my purchase helped keep the doors open at least that night. I was surprised the 10 yr olds were charged the price of an adult. So, I don't think the 3 thin crusted, thinly sliced pizza that they each consumed along with a slice of dessert is 13 bucks worth. We came as the dinner rush was coming to its end. And noticed they didn't have a big selection of pizza, in fact 3 of the same kind were on one side. I opted for chicken and mashed potatoes which was a scoop full at the bottom of the barrel. They did replenish both of those near 20 minutes later. The potatoes chowder had a crusted film on it and no one was around to ask for more. One bus person cleaned up after the locals who had treated the dining area like a all you can eat throw down circus, sitting there giving their gut time to settle so they can eat more. On Sunday, July 30. 2023, I went to Pizza Ranch in Owatonna, MN, at about 1:30 pm for lunch. After paying my $16.04 for Senior discounted meal. was asked if there was a favorite pizza I wanted. to which I answered, "anything but Pepperoni, not a big fane". So after my salad and a Cheese stick, I went to get some pizza and chicken. Got to the table to find two trays of cheese sticks, one tray of some kind of bacon pizza and the rest of the trays were pepperoni, so out of luck there, so I tried the bacon pizza, and went to get some chicken. I prefer chicken breast and all that was in the tray was drumsticks, wing tips and thighs, out of luck there also, so got some mashed potatoes/gravy and went to sit down and eat. Checked back three times to see if offerings had changed and hadn't. so got some Ice Cream and left.

That was the most expensive salad, mashed potatoes, ice cream and cola meal I've ever had($16.04)_ It will be awhile...
