Let's Ride Boots And Apparel — Local services in Owatonna

This is not a good place to get your first pair of boots. Although they have a great selection, they do not have good help. I came here a year ago and there were three young women at the front that never helped me. An hour later, after trying in vain to figure out what boots might work for me, I left in frustration. This year I decided to try again in case it was just a bad day for them last time. Unfortunately that was not the case. There wasn't even another customer in the store yet, once again, the young women seemed reluctant to help. This time my friend and I insisted that they help us and finally, after 20 minutes someone came over. Even then we received no helpful information in answer to our questions. Just one word answers. No encouragement at all. Even when we try to explain what our needs were there were no suggestions given . We felt as if we were an intrusion to whatever they were doing. So if you want a good selection of boots, you'll probably find it here, but don't expect to find help unless the management begins to train them better. Maybe they should send in some secret shoppers.

I do not like to give bad reviews and I rarely do it. That is why I came back to "Let's Ride" again a year later to see if things had improved. At this point, I don't see why I should ever go back again, but if I do, I will add to my review if I find their service...

I found a pair of tony lama boots they fit right so I bought them and wore them for about a week, and I realized that they were a little snug (I wanted to get a size bigger because I’m still growing) so I thought I would go and return them for a size up. But this store has a policy which I wasn’t notified about and isn’t stated on any papers that the cashier was responsible for telling me that if you wear the boots outside it completely voids the opportunity of returning the boots no matter what, no exceptions before I knew this rule I called them and asked if they had the size up I needed they said they didn’t but had the size in other boots so I asked if I could return the pair I had since I was still in the 21 day time frame of returning products they said I could but asked if I had wore them outside at all I asked what that mattered for and they responded with we can’t resell the boots if they have been wore outside so I couldn’t return a $400 boot they said all they can do for me is stretch the boot I took from this that they are putting profits over customer satisfaction and am very disappointed in the way they treat there customers and will not be...

Small store with lots packed into it. Very friendly staff. Every customer got greeted and asked if they needed help with anything specific. Variety of different boot brands and lots of sizes. They even have western boots for the little ones. Their shoe selection is great as well. The jeans and shirts are nice and decently priced for most of them. I also saw a bit of jewelry and belts, if that's what you're looking for. The parking lot entrance is to the left of the building. I saw one guy take the wrong one into the truck stop parking and had to turn around. Whenever I'm back in the area, i will definitely be going back...
