My friend and I went in and had manis and pedis - ironically because I googled best spots, I'm from out of town - and the pedis were *ok* but turns out taking the calluses off is an add on (cash grab?) and they weren't even thorough about it. Then when they did both our polishes - one didn't separate the toes and didn't dry the polish (regular polish) so you can guess how that went. I got gel which, upon inspection, somehow got some on the bottom of my toes? Wild. Then my friends Mani had nails that were all different lengths, and my fill was JANKY on the sides. The gel polish I got was applied poorly. All this was somehow something we kind of just accepted as then when I got to the counter it was, somehow, $182.00 and I was speechless. I didn't feel super comfortable speaking up (that's a me thing) but, honestly, for that price I should not be seeing these mistakes! To top it off when we called back to remedy the situation we were told that there was nothing they could do to fix it or offer compensation. Frankly could have done a better job myself at home. Not worth the money or time spent.

My GF went in for an appointment , the person she had an appointment left early and didn't notify her (which is not okey, she drove 45 minutes also) and she was appointed a new person, whom which proceeded to complained and sighed the whole time doing her long nails. Her new stylist used another press on nail to REMOVE her old nails thay she had, which cuased her to bleed and someone pointed it out that her thumb was bleeding also. They were making her feel like an incovienece the whole time to the point where she didnt want to go through with the design because she felt bad, and they had the audacity to charge her almost 140 for an incomplete design. Her new stylist left half way through the job also for someone to finish. She was on time with her appointment, waited a long time, got a new stylist, new stylist left half way through the job alsl by the way. Please do not give me you generic response, it's not alright for someone to have an anxiety attack OVER YOUR WORKERS MISTAKES. Seeking a lawyer as I type this because this is not alright. Refund.

came in for a fill and design. mind that I just wanted a double french like shown in the pic. At some point when I realized the lady doing my nails couldn’t do it I said it was fine we can leave it as a simple black French tip but she was didn’t stop trying. Fine. Im sure you could tell I wasn’t happy with the out come when finished. The lines are messy from her tryna fix the lining so much it looks like the nail polish bleed. Literally none of them match. The lady changed me what a new set would cost. When I went to go pay I asked the manager next time I come in who can actually do this set because the lady who did it was having a hard time. Her response was…Anybody. so over priced and but yes I left a tip. I won’t come here again. Oxnard has so many other salons that we can go to with better trained and up to date styles. USA nails hasn’t been here as long youd think they were up to date on styles for the way they charge. Do Better. Especially Management.

Service has plummeted big time.

My father is Vietnamese and my mother Thai.

I am appalled at the way everyone at this nail salon talks about their customers. Making fun of missing toe nails? Laughing at mold under nails calling people gross dirty and unsanitary. Saying people flock here the first of the month because they are on state aide and how they hate that have a shop in Oxnard and love Ventura "people" better? What does this mean exactly and why so much hate. To three of my nails lifted in just several days of having a French set (which may explain why so many people are getting mold) if they have dark polish on they won't see it. The derogatory remarks are discusting. The owner and her husband are the worst. She drives around with a pearl colored range and acts as if she is better than everyone. The husband is very arrogant and acts like he is the best nail tech in the whole place even talking down to their independent contractor staff. Even though the nail tech that worked on me didn't do a great job, she was almost in tears stating that she gets no medical insurance and they pay them under the table and her mother is sick and they don't care to make them actual employees?? Wow I'm shook A that they treat their customers like trash B they treat the inhouse nail techs like their still a 3rd world country and the overprice. If your going to charge so much for services why not take care of your staff and legitimize them? This is America. You should be shut down for that alone. Shame on...

Have been here twice now. First time I came in for a mani-pedi, after declining the callus removal, they still did it anyways and charged me for the deluxe set when I asked for regular. The last time I went was just for a manicure, which did at first come out beautifully. The woman who did they is very talented but made very many careless mistakes and actually called me fat not once but TWICE while I was sitting in the chair (I got cow print nails and she kept comparing me to a cow and when I told her I like cows and don't eat meat, she was shocked because people who eat meat "look healthy and are not heavy like you".....) As I was leaving, I was obviously not going to tip but the girl at the front did not like that, and made me tip not only for my moms service (whom had worked with entirely different person, and had already paid and left) and then gave me a "$2 discount" for whatever reason but kept it for herself as a tip! Very money hungry place. As nice as the nails did turn out initially, because of the careless mistakes that were made, the countless air bubbles left have ruptured and have left the nails looking less than presentable. I have very long natural nails and she made no care to try and preserve them, filed them down, made them uneven lengths after I told her not to, and left them so thin, less than a week later, one has already broken. So sad to say I don't think I will be returning as much as I did love...

I just now came to get a pedicure done. I was originally happy to get Tina to do the work, even though I didn't have an appointment . She had done a great job the first time and I had given her a tip then. I understand if she was too busy this time to take a walk-in, she could have just said so directly when I asked for her and I would have gladly made an appointment to return. Although she was nice during my visit, she was mostly concerned and distracted with other customers (who were ALREADY being helped by someone else). She got up three times to go help them and was looking at what others were doing, instead of giving me her undivided attention. To top it off, when I go to pay, I was charged the Deluxe Gel Pedicure. I NEVER verbally asked for this service when I checked in NOR at any other time. I am pretty sure I checked off the regular pedicure on the sign in screen. I don't remember Tina asking me if I wanted regular or deluxe. I only remember her asking me something about my heels, and I declined. I do not get a pedicure done often enough to remember exactly what all the prices are and what exactly is included. I expected that it is the business responsibility to explain details when I check-in. The front desk receptionist NEVER asked me any details at check-in. It goes without saying, I didn't leave a tip, since I was forced to pay extra. I AM EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED AND WILL NOT...
