Hobby Lobby — Local services in Palestine

Everyone who frequents Hobby Lobby knows... Shopping at Hobby Lobby is an ADDICTION!! I love it here. You can't find better deals on the home decor items they carry anywhere else. If it's not on sale this week, it will be next week or the week afterwards. Their furniture looks good. Most (possibly all) of their wood furniture isn't top of the line. They're typically constructed with MDF. I'm not saying MDF is wrong or bad. Just be aware and pay attention. Balance the piece's great look with it's construction. Be sure that your selected piece will withstand your anticipated weight exposure and usage. I've bought several pieces of furniture there. Inspect the piece well for damage and poor assembly (misalignment of doors, bent metal, etc.). Of note, I bought a couple of baker's racks a couple of months ago. I was in a hurry and didn't notice a couple of misaligned/bent shelf support brackets or the bent top corner post on one until after I got it home and set it up. I didn't have time to return to the store & exchange it before family was scheduled to arrive for a visit. The damage doesn't affect it's overall stability so I kept it as-is. It still bothers me when I see it. ...

The entire staff acted as though they were miserable to be there. No smiles, no acknowledgments, and they all acted like doing their job was a gift to the customer. I have never had an issue requesting a discount on a defective item I find in the store. The assistant manager that assisted the cashier ringing me up just kept rolling her eyes and acting like I was causing an issue even asking for a discount. Will not be back to this location. I will drive the extra miles to Tyler from now on. Really...

I 🙋 love that place! I went in there (running around like a crazy person) to get some finishing up touches for my Son's "Vocabulary Day ". To only finally get out of there (because I will spend 💸 like crazy) I have to stay focused lol 😂😂😂, But I got all checked out headed out the door get all the way home. I check my bag.
