We have loved Cotton Patch. We were excited for the new location. We get that the tables and chairs are temporary, but they definitely need booths. It also needs some sound panels immediately if they are wanting to keep everyone coming back. Everywhere there is space, put them up quickly. Where the wood is that "separates" the back dining room from the front AND the one that "separates" the kitchen and cashier area need to actually be a wall or sound deadening curtains. With all of the smooth surfaces you chose to decorate with, it made it extremely loud and is not comfortable to sit and earth in which is super sad for the regulars! If this location wants to make it, they have to get the sound issue fixed asap. I have spoke with many locals that won't came back to the restaurant anymore, it's just too loud.
Also, there has been an issue with management not treating their people well, customers have been noticing. Which is seen and it also trickles down and affects everything including the quality of food.
The Patty melt tasted like a meat patty between to pieces of dry bread. Nothing special about it, the fast foods patty melts have better taste and detail to them right now. The detail is gone in the food service at this new location. There was no BBQ sauce or green onions on the brisket cheese dip, roughly half the chips were soggy/soft. The bread is now crusty like its day old bread. I don't remember having issues like this consistently at the old place. Hopefully the attention to detail comes back quickly as well.
There is a praise report to all of it. The wait staff that works their butts off for little pay and bad treatment from management are amazing. AMAZING.
They are lucky to have these men and women that work so hard to make the customers enjoy their visit.
Here's to hoping rhere is a positive change to the new...
Read moreApril 18 after church our group of 12 went . We were set down fast. I was surprised to get the same waitress I had gotten 4 night before. It was a mess today as well. We were there in all 2 hours 45 minutes then 20 minutes at the register to get a ticket and pay . Some of us got our food 20 to 30 minutes after the rest of us . I ordered a salad before the meal never got it ask her 3 times for it and same as night before she wasn’t concerned. So when I went up to get a ticket to pay the salad was on the ticket . I ask her to remove it so she handed me a new ticket said she removed it but the salad I never received was still there on the ticket then a guy waiter took up for her and said it was cooks fault well no it wasn’t after the second time and third time I ask her for it . It then became her problem. The male waiter finally removed the salad I then ask a 3rd time for a to go tea well I ask her once mire and she handed me a child’s to go tea but had handed others in our group a regular size tea. I said I don’t want a child drink even though at this point I sounded like a complaining child she shrugged her shoulders I just walked out. Train your people before y’all let them let them make fools of them selves because it’s obvious they have never ate out at a restaurant to know how to take care of customers . A customer that is taken care of will usually leave a good tip. It’s clear this girl needs training . The manager needs trained as well. And watching other tables all of this girls they were complaining as well. She has to feel horrible after so m many complaints. Take the pressure off of her and train her. Palestine Cotton Patch needs to train...
Read moreI wanta start by saying the level of service that was given on 5/21/25 was horrible the waiter was a male dont know his name but on receipt was Parsh M. Waiter , was rude and had an Attitude from the very beginning as we sat down. The table was nasty, the quality of food was poor, down to the Lemons that I asked for had been placed in a black cup and had butter all over them. When i addressed this issue he took his time getting back to us and really not much of a follow up. I had to leave my table and ask for Butter and for fresh lemons. My husbands plate was awful and he never complains. Staek fingers only one side , no more than 2 tbsp. For an Adult plate. , my chicken fried stak was semi cold nor was my green beans hot and barely 2 tbsp.... managers walked passed out table three times and no one time did they ask how our service was ... and the place was not full. If they had I would have stayed the obvious. But then brought the ticket finally and its was 80.66 . We have been in her two times and this last time did it for me .and we ordered reagular plates there was 2 adults and two kids ... but yet i still left a top even know he didnt deserve a penny. My advice to this waiter if you dont wanta work go home ... i tried to handle this with grace . But , eighty dollars for food that was horrible. When i asked if they had potatoe soup he was rude, and never offeredd any other soup. Rolls seemed two days old ... salad and tea was good . But i think id refund this bill at least half if i was a manager... nonone should have had this experience... come on... and waiter clean your tables and your hands ... ticket# 1064-3 table 13...
