Ivan Smith Furniture — Local services in Palestine

Hi Robin Rice is not the actual person making the review she is just helping me because i just had eye surgery and can't see. So 2 years ago i bought a queen size mattress and frame and i am having issues with them already. I am the only one who sleeps on this bed but regardless a bedset is supposed to last longer than 2 years.The railing was glued together and broken but i never noticed it because i trusted that it was new as I had supposedly bought it. i found out the bed was used and full of bed bugs. I have been complaining to the store for 2 years now and they say they don't show a record of my complaints.The bed has completely broken down and the mattress is tearing up around the edges. Ivan Smith has refused to take responsibility for any of it. Right before i got bed i had my house exterminated but now i have to constantly pay for exterminations due to what was brought into my house with the dirty mattress. I am an almost 70 yr old woman and i am not rough on things. I take care of my 90 yr old mother and don't have the money to replace something that was supposed to last me quite longer than 2 years. All i would like is for them to make things right. iI just don't know what happened to we value our customers anymore. Someone plz help me. i don't have to put my name here the store knows exactly who I am. I am a petite woman whos theres no possible way to cause...

I needed living room furniture, a kitchen table and a dining table so I went to Ivan Smiths in Palestine. I went in 4 times before we made our final decision. Sharon and Vilma both helped me during those visits and they were both very nice, patient and helpful as I was having a hard time deciding on what I wanted. I told them what I was interested in and they showed me the furniture and explained all the details about it and prices. I am very happy with the service I received at Ivan Smith’s Furniture and will definitely go back when I need more furniture. The delivery was perfect. The two delivery guys, unloaded and placed all of my furniture where I ask them to with care. They were very nice, respectful caring and professional. They unboxed the cords and battery packs that went with my sofa’s and recliners and explained and demonstrated fully how to charge and connect them. They very nicely answered all of my questions.. probably twice. When I have more furniture delivered in the future I hope they are the ones that deliver it. One of their names is Kanon I believe and I’m not sure what the Other ones name is at the moment. They have made 3 deliveries for us and we were happy with all of them....

Sharon, helped so much. I bought the oversized sofa and chair along with the ottoman. I did a special order. Looked at this set many times even picked out a fabric last spring, unfortunately that fabric had been discontinued. Sharon however graciously helped with my new choices.

Now that it has been delivered, set up especially in time for the holidays. I am beyond pleased, it is absolutely beautiful.

My husband, who usually has no comments or on any other occasion, would say it’s a couch, so what, you sit on it. He keeps staring at it and just last night said, Vickie, you did good, this is comfortable and looks great in here. My son came in from Odessa this past weekend, his fiancé opened the door and said “Wow, I Love it and ran to the sofa and semi laid down, hugging it, looked at me and said, it is so comfy cozy I love it”! My granddaughter loves the ottoman, she said it’s hers, she fits on it perfectly.

This set will last, the test of time!
