Panda Express — Restaurant in Palestine

Worst experience ever!!! I pull around to the drive thru to place my order, no one speaks so after a few moments, I say hello? Which a very polite lady comes on and informs me that the drive thru is closed I would need to come inside which didn't bother me at all. I come inside I attempt to order 3 plates and was informed they were currently out of what I requested, but if I waited 7 minutes they'd make it. I said no problem, my husband is picky and wanted that particular chicken and steak combo. As more people arrive someone ask if I've been helped etc. You can hear the girl telling the cook someone is waiting on chicken repeatedly, which she has to stop waiting on people to go get him from somewhere in the back after I've waited a good 15-20 minutes now. The manager gets up from finishing I'm assuming a much needed interview to hire someone. And realizes I'm still there waiting (before she started this interview she asked me if I needed anything) I inform the girl I have a puppy in the truck I need to go check on. She offers to bring out my food which I've already received the first plate which btw is horrible after that long of a wait. So by the time I received my food I had sat there nearly 40 minutes. That's not the worst part the meat for the steak was not cooked all the way through like I waited all that time for food I had to end up cooking myself DO...

Today my husband and I went to eat there. The hours of operation said that they open at 10:30 AM. So we go up at 10:35 AM and the door is locked but people working inside. A lady comes to the door and says they open up at 11 today. So we wait in the car. Meanwhile another person is waiting in the drive thru, another parks by us and waits, and a man and his grandson pull up and get out and wait at the door like we did. They must have told them the same thing because they went back and waited. 11 AM rolls around and the grandson gets out and goes to the door. They come and tell him something so he gets back in the truck and they leave. The guy next to us leaves and my husband and I wait for a few more minutes. No one comes to the door so we left. If you have hours go by the hours. If you adjust your hours and tell people you open at a certain time and you see them waiting and you don't open then you need to tell them and apologize. All is well though we went to Asian City where you are acknowledged and valued. The food is far more superior and you get better atmosphere. Panda Express doesn't value it's customers. I will go where I am valued. I suggest they get their act together or you will lose more customers because this one isn't...

I see several one time reviews so here goes a review from someone who frequents this restaurant after they workout for their protein and health food.

The service is excellent. If they're busy you may have to wait a bit but that's normal for ANY place, so patience is a virtue. The staff will do their best to attend you.

Food is good. My thinking on eating out is, "remember you're choosing to eat here!" In the same way it's cooked Chinese cuisine. Countless times my wife and I arrive and they are missing a popular ingredient. However the staff quickly offers to cook it as soon as they can and bring it to us. A little wait and we have exactly what we ordered and enjoy the delicious food.

To conclude, yes it is fast food. But the staff are working to ensure that their food is always hot and that they complete their orders. I have not been disappointed by Panda Express here in Palestine and will continue to eat there after...
