Speedco Truck Lube and Tires — Local services in Palestine

I don't know what happened to loves, but their customer service is horrible. I had a blowout and was able to pull off hoping they'd help. The shop guys were on their phones and mopping the floors. I go in with roadside on the phone and they say they can't get to it until the morning. So what were they doing so important that they couldn't look at it now?

Loves used to be good, but they're terrible now. Michelin OnStar contacted me only to contact loves and still get the run around. These people need to be fired. There's no work going on and they can't even look at it!

UPDATE: So after leaving the original review, I had went to the pumps to get gas and prepared to move off the property! I get a call from the shop telling me pull in Bay 2. The tire was changed and I was out the door in about 75 minutes from when I first got there, until they were done. An hour and 15 minutes isn't bad, but I was upset they were first giving me the run around.

Maybe leaving the review helped, I'm not sure. To anyone reading this, they DID get me in the bay and out in what I'd say is a timely manner. It could've been faster, yes, but better than waiting until like 5am or so. Thankful to had been able to get...

Had a PM/Lube job completed on my FCC straight truck today. Typical repair location with nothing special. Checked in this morning at 745am and was first truck pulled in to lube lane. Everything was done and out the parking lot by 1145am. Took little longer than usually but was happy to get it done. Made it about 95 miles and truck started running horrible. Almost like truck had hiccups. Pulled over to inspect and truck wouldn’t turn back on. Called the shop and was told prolly just air in system and that they couldn’t fix it. Referred me to a freightliner repair shop. I was able to prime truck and get it started again. Got to the Loves in Jackson, TN to have the shop find out that previous location forgot to install a O ring on water/fuel separator. Mechanic Lucas, said they get complaints and follow jobs on a lot of stuff that the Speedco in Palestine does. Be nice to not need a repair after a repair but hey what do I...

I went there to gat a trailer tire patched, and was told by the manager that it would be 1-1.5 hours before they got to me. So I waited. 3.5 hours later I get put in a bay. Then they go on a lunch break at 11:30pm. At 12:30am now 5 hours later, the manager comes to tell me that the tire had a small bad place in the sidewall, so they couldn’t patch my tire. I asked if that spot was leaking air, because the patch would’ve been in the center of the tread. He said no it isn’t leaking but I’m afraid it will if I put it on a rack and patch it, when I put air to it again.he simply wanted to sell me a tire! After all that time and now being late for my delivery with my clock burned up, I got nothing done there at all! I had tire put back on and took it to a TA where it was patched no issues!
