A few Pakistanis went to an Indian restaurant in a place called Palestine while driving through Arkansas.. Who would have thunk it? We were surprised to see this place in the reviews while looking for something good. You can only eat so much McDonald's and Taco Bell during a road trip when you start to crave comfort food. The chai was actually masala chai and it would have been nice to know, but the masala was packed in there. We don't personally like many spices in our tea, but if that's something you're into, you would really like it. I only tried the Samosas and it hit the spot with the chai. My husband liked the rice with daal, and said it was not too spicy, which was good for us. Great place- we wish them success with...
Read moreOn our drive towards Memphis, we did a quick search for food and were absolutely stunned to find this incredible food truck! It was a complete surprise and the best kind. We ordered both a Veg and a Non-veg curry just to get a sense of the menu, and the food was utterly fabulous. Everything was so tasty and fresh—clearly made with care. It was the kind of meal that makes you rethink your travel plans! The true test? We actually stopped by again three days later on our return trip, and the experience was exactly the same: top-notch quality, fantastic flavors, and fresh ingredients. If you're passing by, do yourself a huge favor and stop here. This food truck is a consistent winner and a definite road...
Read moreGreat food. Wonderful service. They speak hindi and are very sweet kind people. We stopped by today on our way to nashville from dallas. Tried the goat curry, rotis, dal makhani and rice and kheer, samosas and chai. Everything was absolutely deliciouss. Roti's were out of this world soft and buttery. It has a real dhaba like feel with trucks stopping by. God bless these poeple to provide great food in such a remote area. There is not much advertising of this place on the highway or around so we actually stumbled upon it when we actually wanted to stop at subway. Am glad we ate here and not subway. Reminded me of Indian dhaba feels that I dearly miss after...
