DG Ace Hardware — Local services in Palm Coast

Today was my second time at Ace Hardware. I was a little apprehensive as I’ve never gotten paint or wallpaper glue from here before, and I actually didn’t think they had any OR even mixed any colours. But they do! When I called to ask, Laurie answered the phone, and she was super helpful, she told me all the options they had, and the brands. I went in and Laurie was so helpful. She gave me one on one treatment. She made my experience a pleasure, and because of that, I went again today!!! I got more of the same paint (for another project), she was there and READY to help, with a smile on her face. I showed her my last project and she was impressed with it, and made me feel good about my work. I got more paint and wallpaper paste today. I will most likely always shop here for my home supplies, because the customer service was outstanding, genuine and kind. Thank you for being you Laurie, we need more people like you in...

Horrible customer service. I reserved a u haul truck, I had email confirmation and a print out of the confirmation. I got there at the time I was supposed to and the man with the beard was so rude. He told me he reserved it for someone else 45 mins after me! I had already drove all over town to get this truck and he gave me an attitude like " oh well". " I don't know what to tell you". Are you kidding me? That's how you treat customers? He messed up and gave it to someone else then blamed it on the computer. Wasn't even nice or try to help . He just got frustrated and was rude to me like I did something wrong. It actually made me feel like he is racist and did not want to bother with me. It is Sunday and no where else in town had the truck I needed. You guys should hire someone that actually have customer service skills and are not racist!! My weekend is ruined...

This post is specifically directed towards the gentleman who handles the Stihl section of your store. I spent good money on a weed whacker from you, and I have had nothing but issues with it for the past two years. I've probably been to see you two or three times, and you give me the same lousy advice telling me that the string I'm using is no good. I'd finally had enough and went to the Stihl dealer located in Bunnell and what do you know- they showed me the proper way to string my weed wacker, and no more issues. I believe the gentleman in your store that I am speaking of is named Tim- so Tim, I'm thinking this might not be the profession for you. 🤣👎 I can tell you that if I was the general manager of the store, I would take a good look at some of these reviews - your customer service is clearly horrendous and the reviews...
