My husband and I drove up to the drive thru since the lobby was closed early. We ordered, which took 21 minutes to place the order. Which was very easy. 2 #1's both with cheese. We get to the window and we pay then we are told to drive up a little bit because there's a mix-up and they need to figure it out and he will come out and bring us our food and just a few moments. So we wait and we wait and we wait and buy that point it had been about 20 to 30 minutes so my husband got out of the car and went to the drive-thru and they said we can't accompany you unless you have a vehicle which we understand what he told him that we had already placed the order and we can't go to the lobby because they're closed. So they tell us to call LOL. So we get the phone number and we call a girl answers and we explain that we've been outside for about a half-hour now waiting for our food and we have already paid and all we have received is our drinks. She proceeds to tell us that we had left and they threw away our food. So we explained to her that the gentleman that took our order and was at the window told us to pull up a little bit and that someone would be out to bring us our food very shortly because there was a mix-up. So we explain to her exactly where we are and she comes outside and she sees that we're there. So she asks my husband to come to the lobby door and they will bring us out our food. So we're thinking that it may be a few minutes because they've now throwing out our food and I can't imagine that they would actually give us the food they threw away. They're at the door before we even get there and they had my husband a bag of food and it's not warm whatsoever it's actually pretty cold. So my husband is so irritated and doesn't realize it and he gets to the car and I asked him why is the food cold I think they took the bag out of the trash so I run up to the door knock on it get one of them to pop their head out and I asked them did you remake the food or is this the same bag that you threw in the trash? The kid who was the one that took our order and asked us to pull up said I think she just took it back out of the trash but it was still in the bag. So I said no no no you asked us to pull up and we did and we waited and you threw away our food and now you're giving us the food that you threw away that's cold. So he shuts the door locks it goes in explains it to his manager she comes to the door and screams I'm not remaking your food put your hands up in the air and walks away. So that was our most pleasant experience with Burger King. Needless to say that was literally our first visit to that Burger King and it will surely...
Read moreJust stopped at the Flagler beach locatio just off the highway. The gentleman at the front window with ombre honey-colored dreads took our order and kept cutting my husband off as we were trying to order with a short "anything else?" He acted like we were inconveniencing us for coming through the line. After handing us a single drink he mumbled something about pulling around, but with no clear communication and my husband being hard of hearing, we just pulled around and I came inside to get the food instead of waiting to see where we were supposed to have gone. Once inside the man at the window, I believe he said his name was CJ, let me know it'd be a second before I received my order. I told him that was fine, that we were just picking up the remainder of our order because my husband couldn't make out what he was saying through the drive through. He seemed puzzled but didn't make a comment. I tried to suggest to him that he needed to give more talking space to customers who may have auditory processing issues and he immediately became angry and confrontational. I told him to have the day he deserved and he escalated things and started cussing, which I responded to. I tried to call the store in hopes of contacting the franchise manager but instead got CJ, who, instead of taking the opportunity to calm down and speak with me in a calm and reserved manner, decided to again escalate the situation and continue to misconstrue every single thing that came out of my mouth. He acted like he didn't know how to contact his own franchise manager, as if there was no way to contact him. The rest of the employees were laughing in the background. What a sorry excuse for a business, what a sorry excuse for someone working in customer service. Don't waste your time here. There seems to be zero accountability for the service and apparently the employees here just run it as...
Read moreThe comments below were from a couple of weeks ago. BUT yesterday when we visited again we had a HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!We pulled up to the drive through and after a minute or two someone came on the intercom and said we will be with you in a minute or two. So ok then we waited and waited and waited some more. I didn't look at the clock in the car at first as we were just sitting there talking. Eventually we realized that hey this is really talking a long time for them to get back to us to take our order. So I started watching and after about another 4 minutes my husband who was in the driver's seat said Hello can you take our order? Then a woman came back through the intercom and absolutely went off on him. Screaming we hear you, I'm by myself you don't need to be telling me to take your order and honking your horn. Note we had not honked our horn. There were a lot of cars backed up behind us at that point and my husband later said that he thought he heard one of them honk once. I didn't hear that though. But anyway she kept yelling and I was so shocked I don't remember all that she said but my husband said she told us to leave. All because he politely said hello can someone take our order now. We left and went to the McDonald's across the street. As we sat there eating at McDonald's we noticed car after car leaving the Burger King and coming over to McDonald's too. That's such a shame as I really like Burger King's food but I won't tolerate being treated that way.

Much improved from a year or two ago. We had visited about 1 or 2 years ago and didn't feel safe. The atmosphere is much better now and the food is better too. We plan to return as the whoppers...
