Marriott Desert MAIN GATE Springs Villas — Local services in Palm Desert

I regret to inform you and fellow travelers about the abysmal experience I had during my recent stay at your establishment.

My check-in process, for some inexplicable reason, took an excruciating 45 minutes, leading to my party being late for a wedding rehearsal. As a loyal Marriott Ambassador member, I expected a superior level of service, but sadly, this was nowhere to be found.

To add insult to injury, I was rudely awakened by telemarketer calls on both Saturday and Sunday mornings at the ungodly hour of 9 am. This not only disrupted my rest but also disturbed the entire party of six people I was with. The hotel staff's response to this issue was not only unsatisfactory but also displayed a shocking lack of customer service etiquette.

Despite my complaints, the hotel failed to provide a genuine apology and instead reminded me of the 10 am checkout time, which my party had already planned to adhere to. This experience left me thoroughly dissatisfied and inconvenienced during what was supposed to be a restful stay.

As a Marriott Ambassador member, I find it imperative that the hotel acknowledges its glaring lapse in service and takes immediate steps to rectify the situation. I am requesting compensation for this harrowing experience and urging the hotel to implement measures to prevent such incidents in the future.

My husband and I have stayed here twice (jasmine court) in February for a weekend getaway.

We absolutely love it. The first time we stayed in building 6300 our room was on the second floor over looking the pool, the balconies are all spacious with a table, 4 chairs and lounge chair, the room was incredibly spacious, very large bathroom, all the kitchen appliances needed ( toaster, blender, microwave,etc)

The second time we were in building 7300 across from the pool, overlooking the golf course. It was nice but prefer over looking the pool. The room was exactly the same, same layout, same amenities which was nice.

The pool is huge, 2 jacuzzi, plenty of lounge chairs, umbrellas, shade and tables under a shaded area. We noticed both times there we no kids so it was so quiet, relaxing, peaceful maybe ALL the kiddies are at the main pool.

The staff is always so friendly, always greeted you no matter what time of day with a smile.

If you have kids you probably won't like Jasmine Court. I feel like you either LOVE it for the peacefulness, not much going on at jasmine court or HATE it for the...

I don't understand the negative reviews. We are deeded owners at the Marriott DSVII villas and LOVE being here. The area and resort are gorgeous. The rooms are clean and comfortable. They are centrally located for all of the great events in Palm Desert and Palm Springs. It's an easy 30-minute trip to the Palm Springs airport. The staff is super responsive, and we nearly always get our first pick of buildings. We come for a full month every year, so we have plenty of time to evaluate the Villas.
