Waited three days for prescription updates. Got out on hold for over an hour and disconnected on day two. Called 4 times over the span of 3 hours the third day and was hung up on immediately everytime without even someone asking for my name. Had to speak with another store representative to get helped. Spoke to one pharmacy tech whom was kind but the phone was then taken away from her by a woman named Denay (spelling?) whom yelled at and insulted me about if I should be taking my medications whom I went to an ER AND my general physician for.
I would like to preface the rest of this review with the fact that this has been my pharmacy for over 5 years and NEVER have I been so mistreated.
The store manager Steve has done what he can to resolve the issue for me today however I do urge anyone and everyone who possibly can to stay completely away from this pharmacy until the company is able to better support Steve with staffing and training.
The store is always very busy and understandably there can sometimes be a wait time. Pharmacy techs putting you on hold I can deal with as long as I get helped eventually. "Getting to calls As fast as possible" does not include hanging up on people before they can even be out on hold. In addition if they had questions or concerns about my prescriptions they could have asked or called me rather than making me wait 72 hours to then get harassed and berated by one of theyr employees. As someone who works as a retail store manager I've experienced excruciatingly long days during holidays with extreme customers. Never would I speak to or deal with anyone whom I KNOW FOR A FACT IS ILL the way I was spoken to or treated today. I was left in tears with the store manager whom still had to rush me off the phone because the Walgreens company does not provide enough store support to these people. Read moreThis is the worst pharmacy I've ever dealt with.
They have always been slow, rude and extremely disorganized, ever since I've used then, which is way before Covid ever existed, so they need to stop using Covid as an excuse.
They have mixed up my boyfriend's meds with someone else's, 3 times now and twice they ran out of his meds and provided half of supply, telling me to pick up the remainder in 2 days, but when I do, they refuse to cause they claim it was filled and picked up 2 days prior. They never put a note on file, stating that they owe, so he's gone without his meds for 45 days. This is unacceptable. They are playing with his life.
Now they are never open. They say 9am to 8pm, but I arrived at 6pm, twice and they were closed.
They are playing with peoples lives and don't care.
Interesting it is only Walgreens and CVS, which are owned by the same company that are having problems and lie by blaming it on Covid, when it is really mismanagement, along with the unwillingness to pay what the going rate is for pharmacists, along with no knowledge, within the company of how to efficiently run a pharmacy. They are going to have customers die, the rate they are going. They need to be closed permanently before it's too late!!!
Rite Aid never have a line, never have to wait long. I can submit my prescription and they have it ready in 10 minutes. They are very efficient, helpful, friendly and understanding.
Even Walmart doesn't have lines or long waits and know how to treat their customers.

Read moreI've been dissatisfied with the wait time at this location for years. It seems woefully understaffed given the large senior population of this community. Today it reached a breaking point. I was told my prescription could no longer be filled here but had to go to a specialty pharmacy at a distance of over100 miles. The zinger was that I was not informed of this in advance nor did they help facilitate this other than to give me a phone number which no one answered after 5 tries throughout the day. I had been receiving this rx for16 years from local walgreens. No one bothered to explain the change in policy. Time to consider other options? Very poor...
