(Horrible) I have been fighting with this Walgreens for quite some time now. I'm extremely unhappy with the non existent results I've had with them so far! I spent 10 days admitted in the ER for some very painful and awful infections and was told I needed to take my medication that night so after being released I went straight to the Walgreens to get my prescriptions filled. That was on the 11th, when I got there they had told be it would be 30 minutes, I waited two hours before I was told I could not get my prescriptions because they needed a diagnosis code. Knowing I needed them immediately I called the ER to get the doctor to send over the diagnosis code. I have the voice mail that was left on my phone saying the information had been faxed over an hour later. They told me it would take 5-7 days for my insurance paperwork to go through... Already in tears I went home to my 2 hour commute. I have been calling every day since checking on my prescriptions that in the system are non existent. Today was my breaking point (9days later), they told me that they hadn't received the diagnosis code and there was nothing I could do but wait until they got the code then wait another week for it to go through to my insurance. I called my insurance trying to find out anything I possibly could to make sure I get my medication so I don't once again end up in the emergency room and they called everyone including the pharmacy and returned my call saying that the pharmacy had obviously lost the information but still had my prescription slips and that my best bet would be to call in my self to get the code or go back into the ER to get the diagnosis code and bring it to Walgreens and hand it to them in person to make sure that it doesn't get lost then my insurance gave me the number to call to have it expedited because this was rediculous... I'm beyond stressed and I have already passed a kidney stone without my medication plus the other is supposed to be taken every morning and night to ensure my infections don't come back and needless to say I'm beyond irritated and if I do end up in the emergency room again because I did not get my medication because they misplaced a code and have refused to help me im going to make a very large stink about it. Like I said I have called day after day about this and not just that I've gotten hung up on numerous times just after saying "hi my name is Nichole..." I wouldn't recommend this pharmacy to anyone. It's absolutely horrible, I've had to rely on family and friends just to help me with my two babies because some days I'm just in too much pain. And of coarse I can't go get another prescription because I already have one in the pharmacy.. I'm constantly in tears and am just distraught and extremely unhappy with them. I have had a girlfriend tell me that she too has had problems with this pharmacy loosing...
Read moreI agree with a lot of the comments, but, Marilyn is the best pharmacist there. I have never found her to be rude; she has been more helpful than any other pharmacist when I've been frustrated with PAs, medications not being filled, etc. I appreciate anyone who tries to help when I'm beyond frustration and almost ready to just put a gun to my head.
USUALLY, IF RAY AND MARILYN ARE IN THE PHARMACY, EVERYTHING IS FILLED ON TIME AND THEY ARE KIND AND PATIENT AND KNOW ME BY NAME. THE TEMPORARY PHARMACIST IS CALCULATING THE DUE DATES OF PXS DIFFERENTLY AND AFTER YEARS OF FILLING THEM ON THE SAME DATES I KNOW THEY ARE DUE TODAY THE PHARMACIST REFUSED TO FILL 2 PXS UNTIL TOMORROW. I DIDN'T KNOW ANY PHARMACIST THERE. IT WAS A TOTALLY DIFFERENT EXPERIENCE AND I FELT SO DISREGARDED AND DISRESPECTED.. (NOVEMBER 30, 2024) I WASN'T RUDE THOUGH AND JUST WENT HOME BUT FELT AWFUL BECAUSE I KEEP EXCELLENT RECORDS AND NEVER TAKE MORE OF ANY MEDS THAN PRESCRIBED BUT THEY MADE ME FEEL LIKE I DIDN'T MATTER OR KNOW WHAT I WAS TALKING ABOUT..
RAY WAS AT THE PHARMACY TODAY WHEN I CALLED. THE NEW PHARMACIST HAD CHANGED THE DATE OF A REFILL TO THE 26TH WHEN IT IS ALWAYS FILLED ON THE SAME DATES, THIS ONE ON THE 25TH. RAY SAID IT WOULD BE FILLED ON THE 25TH. HE IS THE BEST PHARMACIST....EVERYTHING RUNS MORE SMOOTHLY AND THE PHONES GET ANSWERED..IT'S NOT CHAOTIC LIKE IT IS WITH THE NEW PHARMACIST. ANYONE GOING TO WALGREENS SHOULD ASK FOR RAY. I WAS READY TO CHANGE PHARMACIES AFTER GOING THERE FOR ABOUT 10 YEARS BUT THIS WALGREENS IS REALLY CLOSE SO AS LONG AS RAY IS THERE, I'LL NEVER LEAVE. MARILYN IS THE MGR. BUT OUT ON A MEDICAL LEAVE. I HOPE SHE COMES BACK BECAUSE SHE AND RAY ARE GREAT PHARMACISTS WHO ARE ALSO KIND AND EFFICIENT AND KNOW ME. I CAN'T THANK THEM ENOUGH FOR...
Read moreSo disappointed. Every. Single. Visit. First time they couldn't open pharmacy because pharmacist was late - we all stood around, and the drive through line was insane - for about 15 minutes until he rolled in. Second time, I had to explain WHERE the RX & PA were noted on the order from Urgent Care to the gal at the window. Oh, and they never texted, as promised when order was filled - ever after a test text that afternoon! Went in a day later to see if meds were ready and was handed my bag. Went home and saw that it was a refill for something that was in the system IF I needed it, but was NOT supposed to take it at this time. (It was refill RX from first visit when pharm was late) Third time, went in because I rec'd wrong medication. Same late pharmacist just shrugged his shoulders and said, 'well it's in the system as a refill.' OMG. He didn't even ask what med I was missing - what if it had been life threatening?! Just stood there and looked at me like what do you want me to do?! Oh, and then when I asked him to resubmit ONE RX because my new insurance was delayed and I had paid cash, he said he couldn't do it. Again, OMG. My other pharmacy had no issue resubmitting items from last fall. Anyway, we now have everything going to Savon and it's been seamless. Buh bye Walgreens. I won't even go in there for a...
