JCPenney — Local services in Palm Desert

OMG! Absolutely the filthiest most non customer friendly Penney's I've ever had the misfortune to try to shop at. Went there to try to find Plus Size women's clothes. Well, forget it......oddly all of their clothes are mixed together! So if you are looking for Plus Size.....you must go through each department and sort through a raft of clothing (marketing genuises, I guess). I did find a few things to try on...but trying to find the literally ONE dressing room clear on the other side of the store? Awful......and then the person who stands at the door and who doesn't speak good English especially behind a mask - says she needs to Count my clothes because I have a lot of them. OK......Come on in and count. She proceeds to count a pair of pants by 2 legs! That is, as two pieces......uh.....no..........If I buy pants - I get the whole set, both legs, for the same price. Ugh..........Dressing room floors are so dirty and the walls are filthy......I was truly afraid I would catch something. Found a dress I wanted to buy..however....as we all know.......there are extremely limited Checkout areas......so if you want to wait in line for over 10 minutes (1 cashier) - feel free to do so because you can't pay for anything anywhere else. Nope..........left the dress...

I had the worst experience there was no customer service whatsoever I just had a baby and was looking to find some clothes that I could be comfortable in I got some good deals and I was very excited in the clearance aisle it's been a while since I've been able to feel happy with the things that I wear I was very excited about the things that I had grabbed and there was one pair of pants that stated it was $13 and the ladies would not sell me the pants for the $13 that it said it was it was very disappointing and I will not spend my money at JCPenney anymore if it was mislabeled that is not my fault but it ruined my whole experience I put everything that I got back and I told them I will take my business elsewhere I was very happy to have found forever 21 and they were having a $5 sale so I spent all of my money there and they were very nice and had ...

Now I see why they are going out of business. Worst shopping experience EVER. When I finally found a sales associate to answer some questions she was rude and not helpful at all. After I selected my items and went to pay for them I got the same lady. I had two pairs of jeans that were buy one get one 50% off. They were $49. She tells me my total is $100 and some change. I told her that cant be right. She's huffing and puffing. I show her the sign. She says yes the total is right. How can that be correct? Should be $75 plus taxes. She says Im wrong. Needless to say Im irritated and I'm not going to argue with her. I left without buying them and she said fine and walked away. Im in retail as well and that is NOT how you treat a customer. I do not see myself going back...
